We are home! Thanks for all the congrats and wishes! It feels good to be home and know this is where I'm staying. Joey is just a little doll! He is perfect in every way and is already the focus of his big brothers. They are all just tickled to have a baby home. The delivery went well, easier than the others. He was born on Frid. morning and by Friday night I was having some complications. I started to hemorage and needed to be hooked to up to all kinds of fun (not) stuff. My body has definately, in not so subtle terms, told me it has had enough. Hemoglobin and platelets got pretty low, border line needing a blood transfusion but it started to come back up on its own. I am feeling stronger but have to take it easy for a bit. I am so grateful my mom is here and was when it happened. I don't know what dh and I would have done if she wasn't here. Anyhow, all's fine now. And the best part is I have this little guy who is just sooooo sweet.
About Joey: OMG I am so in love with this baby! Besides being totally kissable he is a very cuddly little boy.He loves to have soft flannel from the recieving blanket or mitts around his lips so I am always on the watch that he doesn't try to cover his mouth and nose. He is a great sleeper, especially when he's on mommy's chest. He was a little fussy last night and wouldn't sleep on his own but had no problems each time I picked him up. lol He's eating well and has a big brother (ds3) who is always ready to help hold the bottle. He smells so goood, has a perfect pink complection and is alert to his surroundings when he's awake. I love the fact that he has a tiny little curl in the same spot ds1 had one. He has dh's chin and looks a lot like ds2. I am so glad he's here, it really felt like I was waiting for him for forever and can't imagine a time we weren't waiting on his arrival. Did I say I am completely in love with this little guy? Oh, and we already have a favorite lulliby! :tinysmile Gotta run, will try to catch up later.
