Fingernails

The post about having your finger cut off reminded me of a cashier I saw yesterday. He had nicely trimmed fingernails (is that 1 word or 2?) except for one pinky finger. Anyone know what that's about? I have my ideas, but if I'm right isn't that kind of blatant?

I have seen that too.....Guitar, coke or fad are my guesses. LOL

Coke was my guess. Do guitar players do that? Kinda like a built in pick? I'm glad you told me because we're trying to find someone to give ds guitar lessons and I would have jumped to the wrong conclusion!

ROFL!!! Don't let me be the final authority on this...I know that most guitar players will have short nails on one hand and long on the other.

The first thing I thought of was guitar player. Some styles of playing require long nails on one hand or on one pinky. Guess I keep my head in the sand because the other suggestion didn't even cross my mind.

DH was a guitar player in a band when we got married. He says that usually they just have all of the nails longer then (at least on one hand). My first guess was coke as well. DH said the same thing.

Iwould think coke too, or for picking thier noses...LOL...:lol: most guitar players I know, have long nails on all fingers on one hand only, but most use a pick...LOL..
