WOW....so different from here....
what do you pay?
city property tax are divided into subgroups, but it's the main way we fund school districts here.
Federal and then State taxes through your paycheck, I feel really stupid, the vicadan is kicking my but this morning, and making me ill, Let me grab an old paystub......we have property taxes too but we don't own anything...
We had state refund auto deposited in our account by the end of Feb. and federal by early March. :) The IRS sent us a letter a few weeks ago, telling us that we'd screwed up our tax return and they'd be sending a check in a few weeks! 8o :yippee:

It's actually 8.25%. Ugh!
Makes me mad how our state funds our school districts. It makes no sense to me that someone that doesn't own a house doesn't have to pay to support our schools. Robin Hood plan makes me mad too. Only 10 cents of every dollar we pay stays in our school district!
We just did our taxes a couple of days ago.
