I need new clothes......

Ok, I have work clothing...suits, skirts, hose, shoes....need more blouses, but I have work clothing...

I have no Weekend "play Clothes" Clothing that you wear after work to dinner, or to the movies, to a casual get together, BBQ....I have a pair of jean, but the weather is getting warmer...I have no shirts/blouses....I have one pair of Capri's...but they are tight when I am sitting....argh....

Need suggestions for a quick easy CHEAP "play clothes".

go to Kohl's and get a cute pair of white capris and black capri's. find a t-shirt that looks good on you and buy it in every color you can afford.
get a denim fitted shirt (either short or long) to wear as a jacket if you need one.
buy a bunch of gold or silver chains and bracelets, and a couple of bright colored flip flops or slides.

you can wear pretty basic clothing if you accessorize it.

I was thinking the same thing...except I would add tan (khaki) capri pants. LOL White never stays white for me! Too messy, I guess.

I feel for you, only I'm the opposite. I basically only have t-shirts (mostly plain colored t's), jeans, and sweat shirts.
I don't have any dressy clothes. My job is too prone to stains to fork out a lot on dressier clothes.

I like Ann's ideas of colored capris and t-shirts. I got Fruit of the Loom colored t's at K-Mart for like $5/each.

I do what Ann suggested, i.e. finding a top that fits great and getting it in different colours...I do that alot, lol. I am also a capris-a-holic. Since I can wear dressy-casual to work, my weekend clothes can also double as my work clothes, so long as I don't garden or do dirty work in them, lol. I also have a few dress-up outfits for work and special occasions. Have fun shopping!!! Now I really think I need this part-time job...I want some capris (and another pair of Crocs):newwink: :*

But the tops might give me a problem...I am BUSTY and weird about my neckline, I need more of a scoop....but I know Kohl's will have something for me....the jacket and the pants and shoes are must try ons....I am also hitting Stienmart, I fortgot I have a gift card from Christmas I didn't use....

I just went to Kohl's yesterday and got a bunch of new clothes, several of the items you had listed! The floral tee is ugly in person btw. I didn't get those jackets, but a different waffle weave white one and several blouses to wear over the t-shirts so that I could wear them to church with capri's.

well, i got a notice that i could get 20% at old navy online if i used my card, so i went shopping for dd and me!!! got some cute shirts and tanks. their pants are too expensive and iffy on size for me to order for either one of us. i am pretty well set for bottoms, but dd sure needs some.
they had flip flops for $2.50!!!! got me a cute red pair and dd some yellow ones. i wanted yellow too but they didn't have my size

You should check out Kohl's Vea... they've got a great variety of clothing... and are very reasonably priced.
They've got great shoes too. :)

i have walking shorts in white, black and dark kahki and capris in all sorts of colors from last summer. i got some low rise very straight DKNY jeans dark blue and black in the fall that look killer with a little tee and some wedges.

ok so I was at the mall on my lunch hour, and ran into Old Navy for some stuff for dd...well....I found my Denim Jacket http://www.oldnavy.com/browse/category.do?cid=5448 the first one...its so cute on....and a pair of white Capri's, really cute on with the jacket and a tank top....and cute new pair of sun glasses with rhinestones, as I am wearing my contacts more now....I wanted to try on more shirts, like the tank tops but I was running out of time, and still needed to get some FOOD....
