We just found out my husband's niece and her husband are expecting a baby. I'm going to send a congratulatory card and I'd like to send a little gift. Any unique ideas? I don't know what books she's already bought or what magazines she's reading.

How about a pregnancy journal-she and her husband can keep track of events, dr. visits, ultrasounds, their thoughts and expectations during the pregnancy.

I know I have seen pregnancy calendars....parents to be can keep track of appts, weight gain, first time feeling baby move, etc. Try a Hallmark store maybe??

There's a book called All About Us that is a like a couples journal. It is filled with all kinds of questions to be answered by the couple. They could fill it out and give it to their kid on his 18th birthday to kind of let the kid know who his parents were before they had him. Or her.

Thanks for the ideas, ya'll. I ended up just getting them a subscription to Parents magazine.
