The Blink of an Eye
by Jessica Scott

In the blink of an eye our lives quickly spin and the clock chimes on with the passing wind with a turn of the head new life is born and a heart beat away is the glowing dawn. A moment’s sigh, A little girl’s kiss “Kiss it better, Mommy”,A little boy’s bliss. One backward glance, your little girl’s grown, your little boy’s a man with lives of their own. In the blink of an eye a mother is born. Tears in her eyes, day is done.

That was so quick I missed it the first time round and had to read it again, lol.

As a fellow poetess, I really like that poem. It's short, sweet and to the point. I love poems like that. :)
