Does the romance in your marriage need a spark??

Dh found this great book a couple weeks ago. It is titled "101 Nights of Romance" by Laura Corn. Dh and I have been acting like a couple of newlyweds!! I can't tell you how wonderful this book is!! The author has several books out....101 nights of spice, 101 night of fantasies.....anyway we opted for romance.

Every week each of you tear out a section of the book and follow the directions. There are four parts to each "romance." 1. The seduction...which varies from costing nothing to $100, sometimes requires a sitter, full moon, certain season. 2. Converstation starter....it may have questions to talk about or just paragraphs from a different book to read. We love this because we actually turn off the tv and talk! 3. Kiss....this is a special kiss, or something you say when you kiss.
4. Passion coupon....some of these are fill in the blank and some are detailed!!

I just love the excitement of knowing dh is planning something special for me and I love doing the same for him. It has really helped us remember that we are husband and wife again and not only parents!

This book has absolutely been a huge hit! I have heard of her on a local talk show for years but never gave it much thought. A lady I work with told me she had bought a book by her and that it was working well with her husband. dw was talking to a neighbor about the book and she bought it as well. And interestingly enough, he met a co-worker who also had a book by her!

When I went to purchase her new one it was sold out, so some people must enjoy her stuff.

I will forewarn people that she has different degrees of books, and I think the Romance book will probably be the tamest of them all. Some of the things she may suggest may take you out of your comfort zone is all I'm saying. ;)

However, the first few items we have pulled from the packet have been just what the book promises... romantic! And, if you read something you don't feel comfortable with you can always alter it or skip it all together.

It's so much fun!

You probably won't find it at the library. The pages are perforated in little packets in the book. To read them you have to tear them out of the book. It is so cool b/c their are pages for "his eyes only" and "her eyes only."

Each person rips them out and doesn't show the other. So, it isn't a very rentable book from that perspective!

They normally retail for $29.95, but we found them on sale for $14.95.

Oh dh has that going just fine. I, on the other hand, require a little more kindling wood so to speak to start the fire. :lol:

Dh and I just bought her book " the American Sex Diet" It is similar and really great!!! I would like to check out some of her other things...
