What a crazy weekend:roll: I am happy that it is Monday. LOL We FINALLY got a good dose of rain here and I can already see our grass turning green again. I have a ton of small things to do that I have been pushing aside, so maybe I will actually get to it today.

Dd and I stayed at my sister's last night - helped her make graduation caps with mini Reese's pnt butter cups, Hershey's candy bars and licorice. Dd was apparently thrilled to wake up in my niece's room, so we have been up since 6. YAWN!! lol Heading to my mom's sometime this morning and then I am going to get my nails done and shop while I am here. :yippee:

Not much here...woke up to feed B a little before 3 a.m. and couldn't go back to sleep; kept coughing and then I started thinking about a hundred different things--did I pay the power bill, why are the sprinklers running when it's not our day to water, is it recycle day, I need to have ds' night guard replaced (he lost it a month ago), I can't forget to complete and send that important insurance form, it's my nephew's birthday and I must remember to call after school, etc. And then I started to wonder where the basket of videotapes from when ds was a baby are and worrying that they may have been thrown out since I've had six different people here at different times sorting and organizing. Ugh.

Think I'll try to go back to sleep for a while.

How are you feeling, Karla? Are the meds helping?

Went to bed @ 11, woke up at 1 and 2:30 and gave up; I stayed up the rest of the night.
I really think we're allergic to these cats. Ugh! I've got a cough and runny nose, and dh woke up with welps all over one side of his face. They are the only thing new in the house. Dd has not been affected, though.

Have my yearly ob/gyn appt. today. Whoopie. NOT! Laundry, vacuuming and mopping then work tonigh.

I'm thinking I'll be like that tonight. We have a big neighborhood meeting tomorrow night and I know I'll have 8 million things running thru my head tonight. A neighbor installed SPEED BUMPS :rolleyes: on Mother's Day and we're all going to hash it out. :grimace:

Yes, I am feeling much better. I am thinking it couldn't have been strep as I actually felt really good yesterday, but maybe the meds just kicked in quickly? Thanks for asking. :)

dd gets her braces today! she is nervous about how she will look. i am nervous about the cost! LOL her appointment is at 8. i imagine i will be taking her somewhere for a special something afterwards. my house is filthy so i will be cleaning when i get home. dd is volunteering at a special needs camp that our church has received a grant to run and there is training this afternoon. the camp is one day a week respite care. swim meet tonite and i have to work the ready bench.

Morning all!

Must be that kind of day...I had weird dreams, woke up early and realized we didn't pay rent yet...ooops! Felling reealy yucky yesterday and today.Skipping PT. Wednesday is gonna be land theraphy so That will be fine. May still go back to bed for a bit.

Trying to get the reayor to get us in to see a condo. We have said in the past that if we came across a condo in his mom's complex that was first floor like hers....we would consider it.but they get snatch up before they get on the market.

Hopefully I can get to see it asap.

Usual routine here. The kids get out of school in 8 days! Next Wed.! Seems like they just started to me, this year is flying by too quickly. I have taken next Wed. off but am not telling the kids, I plan on surprising them.... DS is going on the sixth grade field trip Friday to Knott's Berry Farm, he can't wait.

Looks like it's going to be another beautiful day. I've got Sarah... I haven't had/seen her in over a week. :( I'm sure we'll be hitting a few parks today... I'm thinking about maybe bringing a picnic lunch, she'd like that. :) We'll probably stop at Dairy Queen on our way home. :licklips:

I have laundry I need to get to before Sarah gets here... I really need to get the house picked up too, but that will have to wait until tomorrow. Dh cleaned the carpets yesterday so I'm waiting for them to dry. They look fantastic though. :) I didn't think they looked that bad. 8o

Council meeting tonight... they're discussing our street repairs again and will discuss the hiring of Bob as their new police officer. He'll be starting here on July 2nd. :)

Home from work and already ate dinner. I was starving when I got home so I made dinner early tonight. Need to get some homework done and then going to watch Ghost Whisperer. I never watched it when we lived in the states, but we really like it. It's a bit darker this season, but I still like it.

Jen- that would sure suck if you and dh were allergic to the kittens. Did your other cat not spend too much time in the house?

So what color ties did she get? I hope she does OK. Dd was in quite a bit of pain the day after. Ds got his a week and a half ago and only had some slight pain the morning after. He's been fine since then. Motrin was their friend! :lol: The hard part will be remembering what she's no longer able to eat.

Now ya'll don't hate me too much b/c I got to go to the OB today. I feel sure you each have your turns comin' up. :) The nurse and I exchanged good mornings, etc. etc. and I said "how ya doing today?" Her: "eh.. y'know, it's Monday, whine whine whine..." Me: "yeah, well at least you don't have your OB appt today!!" LOL It's a fun office, so it makes it no so bad going in.

Jen, our other cat hung out inside a lot. I was told by someone at church yesterday that it could be different cat dander that's bugging me. The boy is still on probation anyway. lol He's just not adjusting like the girl is. She's awesome! You can't pet or hold the boy, he' runs and hides whenever he even hears footsteps.

Yeah, what's up with those damn house faries! Maybe that's my problem.... my house is so dirty I've become allergic to it.

Ann, watch out with the cleanin' girl - last you did, you got violently ill! ;)
Hope dd doesn't hurt too badly after the ortho appt. I bet she's still just as gorgeous! (insert brace face smiley here)

I finally got my hair done the other night. I took off a fair chunk of length but at least it's healthier. Instead of highlights we did two colors as if one was a highlight. It's more a strawberry, dark blonde and looks more natural than the light blond i had before. I was so sick of it. Not much going on, waiting to switch some laundry and then going to finish the hockey game with dh and kids. We need this win tonight so GO SENS! Pretty much same ol here. ooooh, but darling ds4 is so sweet. I can't believe how much more happy he is but still waiting for that last bit of colic to go away. He has become quite the conversationalist and I'm sure if his grin at ds3 got any bigger the other day he would have burst with joy. He seemed so close to a giggle when ds3 was playing peek a boo with him. Ds2 is counting the days left until school is out. lol
My mom is coming to visit her mom for a week and then here for a week at the end of june and beginning of july. I can't wait.
