Well this is D day for me. I leave here at 8am and don't come back until my sister and I unpack my parent's new cottage and make it ready for them. They are both so overwhelmed and burned out, that they are coming to my house for the day and staying here while we do this for them. The kids have half day, so they can at least spend a couple of hours in quiet, maybe get a nap in and relax a bit. My Dad doesn't think we can do it in a day, but I think we can. Dh and I moved into our house in a day and that is with 3 bedrms and 2 kids. Wish me luck!

Hope all goes well Amy!

Last day of school. Mixed emotions. I've got errands to do today, then a graduation party tonight. Work tomorrow then straight to a wedding. Which, I need to find something to wear to sometime between now and then. ACK!

James is out of town so I'm driving over to their house to wait for Sarah to wake up. I'll feed her breakfast, stop at a few parks and yard sales on the way back over to our house... She'll be coming with us tonight when we go out and Dawn will meet up with us later at Country Buffet. (it's going to be a looong day... :biglaugh: ) We LOVE having her though... :)

Not much else... Hope you all have a great day today.

Good morning...up taking calls this morning and teaching tonight. It is going to be a long day. I have to go into town in between the two and cash checks and pay bills...ARG!

Ds is sleeping and dh is at work....this is his last day driving. On Monday, they start tearing everything down, so I am not sure how much longer he will be working.

Ava rolled over from back to tummy last night....twice!!!!!!! She's been working soooooo hard at it. She has been rollling over for a few weeks now, but always got an arm stuck underneath, and didn't have the muscle tone to get it out from underneath. She finally worked it out!

Have to leave for ortho followup in an hour. Dd1 comes home from my mom's house tonight. Need to clean house. That's it for my day.

Renee, Happy Anniversary!

Amy, Godspeed on cleaning and getting the cottage ready!

Have a grrrrreat day all!

Cleaning today and trying to figure out a plan to get ds2 to my mom's. A buddy of dh's is heading out for supper, so I need to clean and make dessert, etc - so I don't really want to be on the road 2 hours.

Beth - How exciting!! Go Ava!! :)

Renee - Happy Anniversary!!

Sista - You must be so proud of your dd and the flag!! That is huge!! :)

did he not take the other (good) job?

He was told it would begin in about three weeks, he will have to call them when he is finished with this because we haven't heard anymore about it.

Jen- why mixed emotions? Will dd be going to a new school next year?

Yep, middle school.
I'm excited for her but it's difficult to leave this part of our lives behind. I've been lucky that I've made personal friendships with all of her teachers and she's endeared herself to the staff at that school, so it's hard to say good-bye today.

I think its awesome that your dd and you have had a great experience there at the Elemetary school remember how wonderful these years have been...I am sure it will be hard to say goodbye
She will start a new at the Jr. High and I am sure you both will make great relationships there as well.
Enjoy your Day Sista

It didn't work.:bawling: I could kill my parents. They had the guys wrap crap and take over to the cottage that they don't even use anymore. They were just so overwhelmed (my nice word for it) that they didn't even go through their bedroom stuff. Now we have to haul a lot back to the main house for the estate sale. I'd say we got through 3/4 of their stuff. The bedrooms are unpacked and most furniture in place. It is just the knick knack boxes and hooking things up, hauling things back out, and re-cleaning the cottage that needs to be done. Don't even get me started on the main house.:bawling: My parents are thrilled with what has been done thus far. My behind is dragging tonight. I am sending dh over to help tomorrow. I might need a break.
