It is going to be stinky hot for the next 3 days.:bawling: Thank goodness it will drop on Thursday again. Perfect for the estate sale.

Today I get the kids off to summer rec and I try and get the house back into some sort of order.

Morning!

PT then work. Such an exciting day. Should be nice though. My friends back from her week off and ones I usually don't work much with are on vacation this week...So it should be a good week. Plus I only have PT 2 times this week and next so it might be better...I think 3 is too much.

Amy~ want to come clean my house...LOL.

Dks have their "Dodgeball" class this morning...they just love that summer class! (Don't really learn "how" to play, they know that part! This is just a mob of kids who are supervised...divide up into 4 teams, and have mini-tournaments.) They come out of that gym SO sweaty!!

We're meeting with some friends for lunch...and them going mini-golfing in the afternoon. Ds2 has a baseball game tonight. In between, I've got laundry, and some cleaning to finish.

We leave for Wisconsin Dells in a week!! :yippee: Starting to get myself organized for that, too.

Are you going to the Wolf Lodge again? You do that every year don't you? I wonder what it would be like to be a family and enjoy the same vacation place every year. RME Mine devour a place and spit it out at the end of the time. If we ever attempt to go back again the next year, we feel like its redundant and boring. We are pathetic. LOL

Hot hot hot here too - figures, since we just dropped dd at camp yesterday! She's gonna have a hot week.

Nothing planned all week. I'm trying to get the kittens in to get fixed, but it's a tight schedule. If I can motivate myself, this would be a great week to get the attic cleaned out (I could have one hell of a yard sale, but it's almost too much effort) and the dining room painted.

I like the Great Wolf Lodge...but I like the place we stay even better! It's the Wilderness Resort...huge place!!

Oooh to your ds, Ann. Hope it goes well. My dentist gave us a great idea before mine were taken out. He suggested soaking sponges in water, wrap in saran and freeze. Then I started aching, I'd put a frozen sponge at my jaw and as it defrosted, it molded to the shape of my face and was great relief!

How'd his sr. pics go last week?

I have to work, kids go to the YMCA to swim (poor things)

5 more days and counting until Vacation!

It's suppose to be another hot/humid day today. Actually, it's suppose to be like that all week. :( We could really use some rain, but so far none is in the forecast.

This cat is driving me absolutely crazy with her constant meowing. 8o 8o It was so nice when we were away to be able to sleep through the night without being woken up 10 times because of her. I love/adore her... but enough!

We went swimming yesterday so now I've got an ear ache today. :( Hurts like crazy and nothing I take seems to help. Ugh... hope it goes away on it's own pretty soon cause it's almost unbearable.

I'm getting Sarah at 11:00... and dd #3 is coming over to spend a little time with us. We didn't get to spend our regular Friday together last week because we weren't home, so she's making up for it today instead.

Not much else. I hope you all have a good day!

hugs to your dh!!!
i know with my friends who lost their 2nd parent, the impact of being an orphan hit them like a ton of bricks. we always associate orphans as being children, but the feeling doesn't leave as we get older.

Went to the hospital after work to see my friend. She's still hanging in there. She's 30 weeks today. She continues to have contractions, but they aren't bad. She's still dilated to 5 and they really can't do anything else to stop her labor. So the babies could be born soon. Busy day at work. Dks have been busy going to see movies. Dd has seen "Nancy Drew" 3 times. She says it's her "new all time favorite movie". LOL What a rough summer vacation!

Ann- hope all goes well with your ds today. I remember getting my wisdom teeth out all too well. Now I get to help take them out. LOL

I remember well my wisdom teeth being pulled. I was on Valium, Gas and Novacane. LOL The actual procedure was fine. There was some pain after, but what really got me was dry socket in both my bottom holes. That was extremely painful!!!:bawling: Be on the lookout for that and get them medicinally packed ASAP.

Going into town to pay some bills and pick up some things from the store that I forgot to get yesterday. My neighbor wound up doing supper last night, so I am not sure if she is planning on doing leftovers today, or if she wants me to fix something. I will have to check later and see. I am trying to get ds down for his morning nap, but he is being stubborn today. He got up very late this morning, so it is getting the whole day messed up...ARG!!!!

Have a great day everyone!

got a hyper but stoned boy on my hands! he has been texting all his friends inviting them over for blackjack. says he's too out of it to play texas hold'em, but he can count to 21 cause he checked! LOL
yep, watching for dry socket. if you don't suck or use straws for 3 days that usually helps to prevent it.

Leigh, I love St. Augustine!!!

Hot here too!!!! But love it for swimming!!
Had friends come swimming today - fun!
Also had two baby goats born - got to watch that - oh they are soooo cute!
Ann, hope your son has a quick recovery!
My friend had a surprise birthday party for her hubby this past weekend - it was a casino party - soooo fun! We played black jack all night and at the end whoever had the most chips won a prize - Guess who won?! Me! Never played before in my life!!! Beginners luck!
Enjoy the evening!

That is where dh and I went on our honeymoon... our next door neighbor (dh's cousin's wife---the cousin that got killed in a wreck about a year ago) and her kids are going with us. Her two year old and ds love to play together. We are staying at a hotel that has a slide. I think it is called St. Augustine Beach Front or something like that. Dh's cousin's wife said that is where they always stay and they love it. I am excited because this is the first time dh and I have gotten away together for vacation since our honeymoon 10 years ago, other than our trip to Indiana to see our friend when we returned from Germany.

Glad he isn't really feeling any pain... too funny about checking to see if he could count to 21....lol!

I won 2 scratch lottery tickets and a Mega Millions ticket.
Won $15.00 on the scratch ones - nothin' on the Mega Millions - too bad!! It was worth 55 million :(
2nd place got two really cute coffee mugs full of chocolates and 3rd place got a T-shirt.
It was a lot of fun - there were quite a few people there that didn't know each other so it was a great way to talk and get to know people - much better than standing around making small talk all night - I hate that!

I remember the great anesthesia, I had all four done at once, and the next couple of days I was a pill popper don't remember much else which is good right?

it's amazing how little the pain killers are effecting him. they are keeping the pain away but not knocking him out at all.

Glad he is okay Ann. I remember the first two I had out were miserable. They put me out for them. I was swollen, bruised and in pain for a week. The second two weren't so bad and I was awake for it, just frozen.

he had all 4. it's interesting, he is swollen on the top left and bottom right and that's where they had to work 'harder' and put in stitches. i did harder in quotes cause the whole things was maybe 25 minutes!!!!
