Can't believe the boys convinced me, but I took them to the 3:00 showing of Harry Potter movie this afternoon. I'm not a huge HP fan...but they are. It was a good movie...they LOVED it! LOL

Anyone else see it yet?

Not a Harry Potter house, but I have heard its good.....Glad you enjoyed it.

Transformers was great and I didn't want to see that at all, kept trying to get them to go see the Ratatouille....

I said the boys LOVED it.....I just tolerated it! LOL

I was actually suggesting to the boys that they go by themselves. I mean they are 11 and 13...would stick together, share popcorn, etc. They're good friends. I'd go in, buy their tickets, give them the money for popcorn. Well, ds2 (younger, and more independent!!) was ALL OVER that idea!! Oh yeah...he'd drive himself there if he could. Ds1 (older...yet more cautious about everything) was adamant that I go with them...or they'd wait and go with dh another time. (Imagine ds2's face at this time!!! "What??!!??!!). LOL Finally I say, "Fine...I'll just go." Ds1 tries to explain that he's just a worrywart, etc. Ds2 keeps saying, "Man...when I'm 13 I'd go to movie all by myself!" Poor ds1. He is my sensitive child...needs to be kind of "walked through" things. It was no big deal for me to go...I just thought it might be a good opportunity for the boys to go on their own. Ds1 has gone to movies with his friends...I wonder if he really thought there might be something scary in this one, and that's why he wanted me there.

I remember the days of sitting in a theater watching the "Yu-Gi-Oh" and "Pokemon" movies...thinking to myself, "Someday, I will just be able to drop the boys off to watch movies that I don't care to watch!!" LOL Guess that time is not here yet...at least for ds1!

I think we are going to see it, but we don't get it until next weekend. I haven't really cared for any of the movies, but I have LOVED the books. I don't think I've ever liked a movie after reading the book first.

Glad they loved it. We're getting anxious to see it here too. I thought about dropping the older boys off to see it themselves and me just wait for it to come out on dvd. :bawling: I really want to see it in the theater with them but dh has been working so much lately I doubt we'll have time for me to go. I am going to wait a few days so there isn't a huge lineup to go through but will surprise the boys and just drop them off. They will both love it and I think it's good for them to go together for some time alone, just the older boys and no little ones around. :)
