Friday is here!

It is going to be a beautiful weekend here in Indiana. We are planning on going camping/boating this weekend with our neighbors. I can't wait to be sitting by a fire tonight sinking my teeth into a yummy s'more! I will have a busy day today getting ready and figuring out what food to bring/prepare. We are going to try and keep it simple if we can!

sounds like fun Angie....rainy and hot here go figure...LOL...going to be in the high 70/low 80's but chances are great for rain and thunder and lightning...only here, I tell ya....no more school for dk's and we are doing the new dicipline Magic 123, seems to be catching on here...LOL...for now....dh is taking my car to my BIL's to get a brake job...so no car for me...need to go to the supermarket, but think I can put it off until Sat....Sunday is my Nieces 34th birthday party, don't ask how that happened, I know she is only a year younger than I......she has some learning and mental disabilities, so she wants a big party out at the lake, no matter what the weather...should be fun....laying around here today, just puttering, and playing with my kids....have a great weekend all if I don't talk with you....

Morning. Am really tired, dh went out last night and didn't come home till late, and then a storm came in and I couldn't sleep....ugh!
Tomorrow will be fun or a day from hell depending on your perspective. It is the "Meet of Champ" for our swim league..each club sends the top 3 in each stroke/event for a weekend meet, prelims on Saturday and Finals for top 8 finishers on Sunday. There are 15 teams in the division. DD is swimming 4 events and she has to be there for the am session which starts at 7 AM!!!! DS is swimming 5 and he starts in the pm session at 2:15...so it is going to be a long, hot, mosquitoey day.

It's suppose to be a beautiful weekend here too. The weather has been absolutely perfect all week... nice for getting the kids outdoors to play. Most of my kids are getting picked up early today so it will be nice to start out my weekend a little bit earlier. The week went fast... it's almost hard to believe it's Friday already.

Some yahoo called at 3:30 this morning and hung up... ugh!!! I was SOOO mad! I was lucky though because I at least I was able to fall back to sleep. Gotta wonder who on earth would even THINK to call somebody at that time of the morning. Ugh!!!

Dd's all nervous about taking her permit test next week so I've been helping her study for that. LOL I can't BELIEVE that she's already old enough to get her permit. Most of her friends already have their driver's licenses... it just seems SO young to be driving. LOL To be real honest, I'm NOT really looking forward to it. I worry enough the way it is about my other two. I wish I weren't such of a worry-wart. LOL

Anyway... I hope you all have a GREAT day!!!

Be prepared for Magic to stop working in about a week or so...it's like the kids either think "hey! she's tricked us! we're not going to fall for this new counting thing anymore" OR "ok, we will let mom think her new system works to lull her into a false sense of security and then we will really hit her with all barrels!!!!" (I lean towards this one LOL) This is when you REALLY have to be consistant or it will go down hill.

Happy Friday!! :yippee: We're heading to the lake this wknd - probably tomorrow morning thru Sunday. My parents are in IL for the wknd, so we're having some friends out to fish, ski, etc on Sunday. It should be fun. :) We're contemplating going to Como Zoo today, but not sure about that yet.

Diane - I hate those late night hang ups. Whenever the phone rings that late I always think something happened to a family member. Big worrywart here :nervous:

The weather is beautiful here too, been so cool and windy for the last month, but now it's hot!!
Went into the city early this morning, dh had an appointment with a specialist, turns out the lump on his neck is a stone in his saliva gland, has surgery book for 2 weeks from monday.
Plan to go and watch some barrel racing tomorrow afternoon and then to stock car races(they were rained out last Sunday)
Diane - my dd got her learner's license on Monday, haven't gotten brave enough to drive with her yet!
