I get at least half a dozen emails a day with "greeting card" somewhere in the subject line. I've never opened a one, so hopefully I'm safe!

Hold the phone! I was just informed that it shouldn't be called a greeting card virus... it's a postcard virus. The "A Virtual Greeting Card for You" emails should be okay. Not sure exactly what the difference is... but maybe this will explain it.

Yep...me, too! My dh's job is as a computer security/risk specialist. He says NEVER open attachments...unless you are positively sure who sent it to you, and what it is.

All the stuff (jokes) that is forwarded to me as attachments, I delete immediately.

I get those postcard things too - just delted another 2.
I also go in and delete that stuff out of dd's email account. She doesn't check her email but once every 4 months, lol, but I sure don't want her to get confused and open something enticing like that.
