good tried and true Beef Stroganoff recipe that you wouldn't mind sharing? There are so many different recipes on the internet, some sound good... some not really. :( Do you have one you have already made that you especially liked? TIA...

I don't like ones with sour cream in it. so i make mine with cream of mushroom soup and a little milk. add in either fresh mushrooms that i have sauted a bit in butter or canned.
i usually use ground beef so i guess technically it's not a real stroganoff. LOL i serve it over noodles.

I make a delish beef burgundy - served over noodles or rice.

2lbs stew beef
2 cans french onion soup
2 cans golden mushroom soup
1/2 c burgundy wine
mushrooms - optional

combine in 9x13 pyrex
cover with foil
bake 3-4 hours at 300 degrees

it's dd's favorite dish

I make a "hamburger stroganoff" like you are describing...except that I do use sour cream. LOL I serve it over egg noodles.
