Do use UNCOOKED non seared Pork chops?
An easy pork chop recipe with cheese scalloped potatoes, cheddar cheese, and pork chops.
INGREDIENTS:
* 1 box scalloped potatoes with cheese, including ingredients needed for preparation
* 3/4 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
* 4 to 6 pork chops
PREPARATION:
Follow directions on box to prepare potatoes. Add 3/4 cup sharp Cheddar cheese to mixture. Transfer potato mixture to crockpot sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Put pork chops on top of potatoes. Cover and cook for 6 hours on low.

I would assume uncooked....because they don't say to do anything first..but not the expert.

i would assume uncooked, but if you are nervous, just pan sear them anyway, before putting them in the crock
Dh was nervous, going to pan sear then add them to the mixture....thanks!

I would sear them also... just in case. They sound good... :)
I would say just throw them in and let the crockpot cook them. I've cooked pork chops in the crock without pre-cooking them first. They don't get a brown/seared look to them, but they are so tender.

I do pork in the crock all the time without cooking first...I usually start them on high first but don't think the potatos could cook on high....they may burn.
It was good, next time I would use a little thicker pork chop.

glad it was good. I'll have to remember the thicker pork chop if I ever decide to make it myself. :)
