Are you guys okay?? Schools open tomorrow? How far are you from the fires?

Oh Mary aren't you sweet....made it home ok...the fire between work and home is contained....there are more starting up here and there....not close to me yet....thanks for thinking of me...I feel so lucky that we are not in harms way....seen lots of devastations on the news and its just awful and senseless

I've been listening to the news and wondering about you too. :) Good to hear you're all still safe.

one was power lines fell and sparked, two are arson....its just really horrible....the wind is crazy and just takes the flames...

Fires are scary enough without people starting them on purpose...good grief. Ya'll stay safe.

I just talked to my mil. So far our parents (mine and dh's) are safe. Our friends aren't fairing as well, too many people that we know have been evacuated from their homes. More (including my sil) have been put on stand by to evacuate. I'm a bit freaked out by it all.
Renee- I'm glad you and your family are out of harms way. I hope it stays that way.

Checking in, It smells so bad and I have ash all over my car....its so end of the world like....
Oh Jen I will pray for your family and friends....its so devastating here. Now two of the fires have merged...its so HUGE its uncomprehendable

The fire closest to me has been contained but one near my brother and the one out by my father are both raging

Pray for a quick end to this, RAIN would be good too!

it's just heartbreaking.
i'll be praying for a speedy and safe end to it. hang in there renee and remain safe. jen, i'll be including your loved ones in my prayers. ((((hugs))))

Ok sweetie. This is sounding way too close to you. The kids must be freaked out by it all, especially seeing the ash. Are your brother and dad being evacuated or are they on stand by? Praying for a quick end to it all.

((hugs)) renee. I remember the wildfire in Colorado. I was never close to them until I was making my way up to Denver. One town was totally covered in smoke. It was unsettling to say the least.
