I couldn't get here earlier and looking at the lack of posts, it seems this was true for alot of you.

DS is at a swim party, but it's thundering (no rain or clouds) so the pool is closed but the boys are going to play volleyball and wall ball instead. DD is devasated that the pool is closed and is pouting around here like she lost her best friend!!! I am hiding in here. LOL

I checked in earlier and there were no new posts. Pretty slow. Let's pick up the slack gals! ;)

Did some packing today and when dh gets home from bball we are going out to eat and then running errands. We need to buy a new deep freeze and fridge, so I hope to check those out tonight.

Ive just decided something today. I really hate weather over 90 degrees. I have felt like dog doo all day and even with the swamp cooler on, Im still moist. Gee only 4 more months of heat here. LOL

This Saturday I go into the airforce base to have a tele-visit with dh. It should be a hoot to see his mug again. The kids should be really happy too.

Im also taking ds into the Ped. tommorrow morning. I really think he has a speech delay problem. There is some problem with him processing words and repeating them back to me. He leaves out most consonants and his pitch of voice is not comfortable when he tries to repeat things. Hopefully, this is just a constitutional delay and it will work itself out before school by its own. If not, I want to get as early intervention as poss.

I hadn't checked it for about 31/2 hours and was really surprised that nothing new had been posted... I didn't have any problem getting in though. That would probably answer why it's been so slow though. LOL Either that or everybody else has gone off and gotten a life. LOL :)

My dd got her drivers permit today and is totally excited about taking the car out for the first time... ugh!!!! I'm nervous as all heck about her going out but dh said that he would only take her out on the streets right in our area so I'm sure she'll be okay. Out of her class of 45 three students failed the test. Another class of 35 students all passed so, there are going to be a lot of new drivers driving around tonight. I'm thinking that maybe we should play it safe and stay home. LOL I'm sure she'll do fine.

Anyway, I was GOING to go upstairs and do my dinner dishes but I hear that dh is doing them so... I'm staying put for a while. It's not often that he does the dishes so I'm just going to leave well enough alone. LOL Take care all.

Diane...

Amy/CO - Tele-visit? Sounds kinky!!! LOL

Diane P. - I am sitting here thinking of what I can say to ease your anxiety, but I am still unable to let my ds walk across the street let alone DRIVE across it!!! Let her go and "breathe deep!"

I wasn't able to get on today because dh had dismantled my computer to move it into our bedroom. He is moving his "office" in and no longer has an outside office. I'm not sure how much I will like having it in here. I loved being downstairs where I could keep a closer eye on the kids. I guess he will have to do that now!! LOL NOT!!

Sounds like we are in the mode of "it's too hot." Wasn't it just yesterday that we were complaining about it being too cold?? It has been quite warm here but hasn't gotten to the walk out the door, turn around and walk back in stage yet.
