My house is mostly clean. More laundry and dishes to do, but those are just never ending. I need to clean the bathrooms as well. Then my house will finally be clean- at least for a few days. Dd is babysitting. She decided to do it at our house. The mom didn't care either way as she trusts dd. The baby is almost 6 months old and is the sweetest little guy. Dd and ds are having a blast with him. Homework to do- I'm going to make a dent this afternoon or no computer time later for me.

We are all skipping church today. Dh is back at work on replacing siding. Dd and I have cleaning to do then the town Christmas parade is this afternoon and I've got to take dd so she can be in it. She has youth group tonight, so I guess I grocery shop during that.

My House is spotless, dog is even washed.
Just finishing up the laundry  what's new.

Last night we watched "Pirates 3" what a long movie. Kids loved it.

Gave our "Fred Clause" tickets to our neighbor who was tickled....said they needed a date night.

Thinking of baking today.

Have a wonderful Sunday all!

dd and a friend are going with my dad and his wife to his lawyer's big party. this year the entertainment is Brooks and Dunn. dh and i are going to the Texans football game instead.
well, i am back on ERT. i could take it. the hot flashes were great, but the insomnia, heart pounding out of my chest, bone aching was just too much. i will revisit it again in about 5 more years. maybe by then my body would have been ready to do this naturally.

Brooks and Dunn sounds so much better than a football game. LOL I love country music though and only like football. :) I hope you all have a great time and your events.

Both sound fun but I too would much rather see Brooks and Dunn. :) (but I'm not at all into sports so... ) :)

Hope you and dh have a good time, Ann...

Sorry your going through the Hormonal stuff :(

Ann, I hope you body starts to feel better soon.
We skipped church too. Didn't plan on it but no one was getting ready (I was). I could have gone ahead but then the phone rang and I got caught up talking with my brother who I rarely get that chance he is working so much. So, I missed it. Doing dishes that don't seem to end. Dishwasher is broke, dh is fixing it now. Need to get some laundry done and clean the bathrooms, at least the main one. Ds2 cleaned the living room already and we are now waiting for dh to finish the dishwasher so he can go in the crawl space and pull out the tree. It'll take me a while to fluff it out and get the lights on but as long as it's up the kids don't care. LOL I'm excited too, feels more like the Holiday's with it up. :)
Hope you all have a good day :)

We went over to dd/SIL's last night to celebrate his birthday. His grandma, mom, sister and brother were there. His mom drove me (and several others) absolutely crazy. :crazyroll I've gotta say, we've gotten together for the past 4 years to celebrate her ds's birthday together... and I've never seen her act or behave like that before, but last night she yapped and yapped and yapped... and was many times totally inappropriate. If I hadn't known better, I would have thought she was totally smashed... but they don't drink. I don't know if it was because her dh wasn't there, if they had had a big fight or if he was indeed working like she said he was... but she said sooo many unkind things about him, including that if she could... would rather do without him, then went on to say how she betted the rest of us probably felt the same way about our significant others too. Just continual "stupid talk" all night. Needless to say, as entertaining as it was, we left early, and i noticed how quick everyone else was to follow us out the door. I'm already not looking forward to our usual annual birthday get together next year. :biglaugh:

We were up early and went out to breakfast with some friends this morning... came back home to read the paper. We were suppose to have Sarah tonight, but Dawn got sick... so that was cancelled. :( Thinking it might be a nice day to just stay home and relax.

Hope you all have a nice one...

Ack! What a party Diane!

Brichard, dd#2 and I went to church today. Ds hasn't been feeling well and dd#1 woke up with croupy cough so they stayed home. I need to address my cards and get them mailed out of here and complete laundry today. Have a great day all!

My plans changed AGAIN. Dd has a book project due Tuesday; it's a scrapbook made by the main character of the book. She just finished and tested on the book Tuesday, but still... this is last minute for this type of project.
I'm not doing a whole lot, but will help her pull it together; we ended up going and buying a cheapie scrapbook at WalMart (and I did my grocery shopping, ugh) now, she's held up in the playroom getting the junk together for it.
If it comes out right, it'll be a really cool project. :)

I am freaking burnt out! It is constant motion here on the weekends. Dd and I did a lot of baking this morning. The kitchen has been cleaned at least three different times over and it is still a mess after a made a huge pot of soup. I have to tackle ds later to do his reading homework and get them set up for school tomorrow. I It is no wonder why I haven't been able to sleep well in the last couple of nights.:banghead:

At least dh will be able to drive his new truck tomorrow. We MAY even have a normal weekend day NEXT sun. LOL

no, i have missed it before. it's not that much fun anymore. if i had been a bigger brooks and dunn fan, maybe.
not a huge football fan, but haven't been to a game in the longest time and the people who invited us are really great friends that we haven't seen in a while

Yes... we ended up getting him a gift certificate from Best Buy. :)

I don't know about her being on any medications.

Decorated the outside of our house today...it's snowed 8 out of the last 9 days. Kind of hard to get the ladder up against the house (lights)...with all of that snow on the ground. LOL

We also got the tree up...and the lights on it. Yeah! Tomorrow night we'll do the ornaments.

Went to dh's company Christmas party last night. We had a great time. ****tails, dinner, dancing. Great time to "dress up".

After we got home from going out for breakfast we decided to just stay home, which is unusual for us. :) It was too cold outside :nervous: and we didn't feel like leaving our nice warm house. We ordered pizza for supper, watched a movie... and I'm planning on an early bed time tonight. The weekend just flew... I can't believe tomorrow is Monday already.

I wish we already had our tree up... :( I hate putting it up, decorating it... but I love how it all looks after it's up and decorated, (I just don't want to have to do it) then I hate having to take it all down again. We have to put ours up next weekend because were having our family get together on the 23rd. Than I plan on taking it back down right away after Christmas. Talk about being a scrooge...

We went to our Godchildren's piano recital today. They did an excellent job!

We spent the rest of the evening cleaning/organizing. My mom and stepdad are coming over tomorrow evening for dinner. It is ds's actual birthday tomorrow, and my stepdad may not be able to make it to the party on Saturday. Ds will be excited to see them.

Hope everyone had a great day!
