Got up and exercised even though I really didn't want to. I know I needed to. LOL Getting ready to hit the shower and grocery store. Homework later and I told dks I'd watch a movie with them this afternoon. Need to get some housework done as well. I think it's going to be a busy day.

I am up to go to service, then teach sunday school after. I made it to the grocery store last night so I'm hoping to work on the house some more before Life group this afternoon. Back to normal tomorrow!

Its warm(er) but dreary looking. I think I am going to go on a run with dd later just to get outside.
No clue what to do with the rest of the day. LOL

We ran yesterday afternoon, all 3 of us. Dd and dh smoked me! LOL That's okay, I was glad to see dd had no problem doing the mile... she'll be fine working up to the 6 miles, I think. I did much better this time since I had my iPod - I ran 3/4 of a mile but had to have music blaring in my ears the whole time so I didn't have a chance to hear myself complain. :lol:

We're all skipping church today. The big tree is left to come down and there is laundry and dusting, etc. to do but I'm going to shower and go shopping. My house needs some new 'stuff' (lampshades, bathroom curtains, etc.) and I'm in the mood to buy it.

Dd has choir and youth group tonight.

I took a long walk in the drizzle yesterday with dh just to get out of the house....it was awesome!

Raining here and it's a nice change....

DD and I both got hair cuts....DD looks amazing...so cute, shoulder length blunt cut with bangs......she loves it! :heart:

I decided not to go too short, so I just went shorter. shorter in the back and longer on the sides its really cute...Oh and she FIXED my color, roots and all, and I got great golden highlights...I've gotta take a photo.... I am so glad I went back to her...I didn't realize how unhappy I was with my hair until she cut and colored it.
DH actually said, "forget doing it yourself....you look hot! and HAPPY....we can afford the expense"....

Gotta get this laundry done......

Ugh, rainy and dull here, but I think the temps. are on the rise. I am going to start running again today...time to get serious again, lol...even getting dh to exercise with me. We'll do the treadmill and the weights together 3x/week. Ds goes back to school tomorrow and dh goes back to work.

What motivates me to exercise each/every day lately is seeing this old guy... I swear he's got to be in his 90's, going for a walk each and every morning, no matter how cold it is. Hell... if he can do it I certainly should be able to. LOL I always feel so much better after I've worked out. (but I've been feeling SOO darn hungry lately... :bigcry: )

We met some friends for an early breakfast this morning. Dh needed to go to Menards again... so I had him drop me off over at my mom's so I could take the dog for his walk while he did his shopping. I told him to call me when he was done, I knew I'd be done before he was, and that he could just swing through and pick me up at the bottom of my mom's driveway. :) A little over an hour and a half later :rolleyes: I finally decided to call him on his cell phone to see where he was/what he was doing that was taking him so long. :) Here he was waiting for ME to call HIM. :rolleyes: Ugh... Men! (do any of them ever really listen?? :lol: )

I think were home for the rest of the day. I'm in the middle of a good book, so want to get back into that. I'm contemplating starting my laundry today instead of waiting to do it all tomorrow.

Can't wait to watch an all NEW Desperate Housewives tonight... it's going to be good. I'm glad they're not making us wait until next season to see what happened.

Things are finally starting to settle down a bit here, thank goodness. Ava and ds are almost over their illnesses, but dh is still not feeling well.

I finally started PT last week. I don't have a lot of pain, but boy is my knee swollen. It makes it extremely hard to bend it and walk. I can't wait for it to get back to "normal".

Nothing planned at all today.

I finally started PT last week. I don't have a lot of pain, but boy is my knee swollen. It makes it extremely hard to bend it and walk. I can't wait for it to get back to "normal".

I'm happy to hear that Ava and ds are feeling better... hope dh is on the mend soon too. Good luck with your knee and PT... and hopefully the swelling will go down soon. Keep us updated as to how you are doing...

We had a nice sun shiney day here today. The temperature got up to 45, which hardly ever happens this time of the year. We lost a lot of snow. :yippee: I saw SEVERAL people wearing shorts and even more not wearing any jackets. Dh said he even saw two motorcycles. Gotta luv these Minnesota winters... :lol:

:lol: When going from 70/80 degree day's down to 45, you see everyone bundling up because it feels SOOOooo cold... http://bestsmileys.com/cold/5.gif but when you're coming from -5 degree day's, 45 feels like a heat wave... http://bestsmileys.com/hot/3.gif and everyone starts shedding all their warm jackets. LOL Kids were out here playing football in the snow piles yesterday... :lol: :lol: they were having a BLAST!!! I'm sure we haven't seen the last of our cold weather yet... but it's nice to have that little break in between.
