Ugh. Dh woke me up at 5am and I haven't been back to sleep since.
My house is nice and quiet though. lol Dd and her gf are sacked out and dh is snoring... guess nobody's going to early church.

We found dd a dress for the dance yesterday; OMGosh I was worn out!!

Today, I work and hopefully dh will keep working on the outside of the house, it looks so nice since he mowed and cleaned things up out there yesterday.

woke up feeling like total sh!t this morning. I think I'm getting a cold... and I think I have a kidney infection, which would explain the pain I've been experiencing on my left side. It seems better, but obviously won't go away until I go to the clinic and get a prescription. :(

Not too sure what were going to do today. It's -10 and quite honestly... I think I'd rather just stay home where it's nice and warm. Not going to walk the dog today, he can go in the back yard. :lol: I just don't feel like freezing my a$$ off today...

Got a new book, will probably veg out and read.

That sounds so funny to me...that your dh was mowing the grass. I only wish! We have about 24" of snow on the ground (at least!), and currently it's -12. (Windchill of -35) Oh, how I would love to see the grass! :-)

Church this morning...brrrrr. Then ds2 has a basketball game at 1:00. Ds1 has a science project to work on (making an animal and plant cell model...do you remember doing that?).

We'll be INSIDE as much as possible today. My poor puppy is just miserable when she has to go outside.

Sista, isn't dress shopping with a teenager fun? LOL the one thing that dd kept saying when we got her dress last week was 'this is the easiest shopping trip we have ever had'! told her 'see, you old mom know what she is doing!!' LOL

going to church, then dd and i are having lunch with one of her good friends and her mom cause they are talking about having their birthday parties together, but i am see a big potential problem. they are acting like this is going to be some huge dance thing and i am thinking much smaller!!!
sorry babe, you had your 13th party last year, and this is ds' year for a big party.

I feel human again. Still have the cough, but it's tolerable. Ds is still in the worst of it. Had the fever and all yesterday. Back to the daily grind for us all tomorrow. Can you ladies say a prayer for a lady I work for. Her dh had an allergic reaction to some medication, got a rash which became infected. I didn't know something that doesn't sound so bad could become life threatening, but it has. He had major surgery last night and the type of surgery he had only has a 20% survival rate. This lady is like a mom to me. I love her to pieces. So if you could say a prayer for her and her dh. I will keep you updated as I get more info. I can't go visit them at the hospital as I am sick which makes me feel really bad. Her dd is flying in from the states as I type. I'm so scared for them all. The next 72 hours are the most critical. He will have another surgery tomorrow.

Got the taxes done :grimace:
I it is depressing, we get a small return from Federal, and we owe more than we are getting back to State..ARGH!

We went for a drive and to lunch at Apple bee's yesterday to just get away from the house....

I have laundry to finish and light house work

kids are both off tomorrow...wish I was....they sure get alot of holidays off that I don't

Brichard is much better today and I finally feel like I'm on the way. I actually slept last night without waking up in the middle. The cold swept in last night and is just going to get colder all day. We are expecting a little snow, nothing major. Of course last time we were supposed to get a blizzard and got nothing, so this time we'll probably get pounded.

We finalized plans for ds's birthday. No party this year, brichard is taking him along with my brother and his son to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum. It is about a 6 hour drive so they will have an overnight stay. We also got tickets for he and brichard to see Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers this summer, a game for the Wii and I found rollerblades on clearance for $10. I think that should do it!!

We finished up all the valentines for dd's classes today. It feels good to have that out of the way. Just general pick up and laundry today.

I can't STAND cranberry juice... so dh just left for GNC to get me some cranberry tablets... same results minus not having to drink it. I'm also drinking a lot of water, plus taking a bunch other stuff. Never thought of the yogurt Angie... thanks for the reminder.
