Kid friendly email

My boys 9 & 11 have asked to have their own email accounts. We signed them up for hotmail ones. The oldest keeps getting junk email about getting out of debt, applying for credit cards, and yes, even some for 18 yrs. and older. I have their preferences set the same, so I'm not sure why one gets it and the other doesn't.

Does any one know a site (web based) that offers free emails accounts especially for kids?
