I bought one this weekend. They didn't give me a username and password when I bought it, so I wasn't able to get it set up until today when customer service was open.
I can't wait to try it out. There are a few ladies in boot camp that use it, and they say it has helped them tremendously. I think it will be great motivation for me as well.
I have never known exactly how many calories I burn each day. The bodybugg keeps track of calories burned. Then you enter in the foods you eat each day, and it will keep track of calories consumed. The goal is to burn more calories than you consume.

interesting...
But way out of my budget $$$
Let me know how you like it!
Very interesting. That's basically how I've always lost weight, by counting calories. I'd love to try one out. Is it something that you wear all the time? Is it small enought that no one can see it (say under scrubs)? I lost 19 pounds from Jan 1 to March 1, but may have gained a couple back since DH is now in town more. I'd like to lose 20-30 more.

WTG on the weight loss!
Yes, you wear it all the time. You can even wear it while sleeping if you want; however, it will estimate how many calories you burned while sleeping by using the information you provide in your profile if you don't want to wear it in bed. The only time you take it off is if you are going to get wet, like swimming or showering.
It is about 3-4 inches in length. You wear it high up on your arm, so depending on how long your sleeves are on your scrubs, it may go unnoticed.
I finally got mine totally set up last night. I'm loving it so far. It gives you a meal plan that fits your needs, getting it's information from a series of dietary questions it asks you. You enter in how much you want to lose, and at what rate (ex: 2 lbs/week), and it will tell you an approximate date that you will reach your goal.
If you are wanting to purchase one, I recommend you go to 24 hour fitness. They sell them in all the gyms, and they are cheaper than buying them online.

Well, why would I want to take it off before I go to bed, what if I burn lots of calories before I actually go to sleep ?:brow:
