I can't believe I'm actually starting the morning thread. :)

Up early because dh has his networking meeting. Going over to mom's to walk the dog... back home to bake some cookies and a cake for some company tonight. It's nice to have company but I'm hoping they don't stay too late. It feels good to entertain though. :)

Were suppose to get 1 to 3 inches of snow today... am hoping it misses us. What we got a few day's ago just melted and I don't think anyone is really in the mood to get any more again... but I guess we have no choice if it does. It feels like it's been a long winter. :(

Not much else going on. I hope you all have a great day today!

Got back home yesterday from my sister's house. The boys and I were there watching her kids, while she and her new dh are on their "honeymoon" cruise. (They got married in August.) So we took the first shift...lol...for 4 days (Sun-Wed). My mom took over late yesterday.

Today I've got some cleaning and organizing type stuff to do. Going to tackle the pantry, and the linen closets. Did you watch Oprah yesterday about the "hoarding" family? Wowza!!! That was inspiration to clean, that's for sure.

That family on Oprah was incredible! I have a tendency to overshop and put away gifts like that, but wow, that is something else!

Just finishing up things around the house and doing a couple of things at ds's school.

I was thinking that at least it was new things all around instead of stinky piles of old dirty stuff, yuck!

I've been tired since yesterday, had a hard time getting up this am. Starting to feel normal and ready to tackle the world, well, at least the house. lol
Dh took the van to work because now his truck needs brakes. My van needs tires too but it's not too bad yet, can wait a little longer. Warm out for the amount of snow we have so its a good day for walks. :) Hope you all have a good day.

Sista, glad it's only one month, much more manageable. :)
Diane, please, please don't send the snow my way. LOL You would not believe the amount we still have. Our spring report does not look good, another month of winter and then when real spring does come, it'll be cold and a lot of rain. :\
Renee, do you take calcium and B6? That should help with the pms.

Yeah, until they did find the dirty stinky stuff... 8o
The guy (can't remember his name) who was helping them said that some of it was so bad, he actually had to go puke a few times... :\ I'm sorry but I'd be sooo embarrassed! :o I also wonder just how long before she does this to her house again. :(

Morning!

Wow your all up and motivated early....I was lazy. I'm still feeling this head thing and really don't want to waste a trip to the DR. for him to tell me to do what I'm doing.

Yesterday went surprisingly smooth for having 2 staff out. But I had like No kids in my room so it was easy to do on my own. They mostly left by 4:30.

Not sure what the weather is gonna be like but we'll probably be out this afternoon.

Have a Great day~

Not much here today. I have dishes in the dishwasher and a load of clothes on. I am about to hit the shower, but I thought I would check in here first. It is sunny and cool here, but I think it is supposed to warm up. Anyways I hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Well, I have been sleeping late all week. Or at least staying in bed until 8:00-8:30 or so. Drug out all my teacher's manuals and was all set to do some massive lesson planning only to realize I had left my plan book pages at school. Now I've got to pack everything back up and head to school this afternoon. My cardiologist's appt. is Mon 2 hours away so now I have to take the whole day off as opposed to the 1/2 day I had asked for. I have to make sub plans which are always more detailed than my plans. Arrrgggggghhhhhh!

The weather has really been beautiful. Sun, light breeze, temps in the 70's. Ds borrowed our riding mower to mow his huge lot and when he returns it I'm going to ask him to go ahead and mow mine. It needs it now. First time this spring!

I'm finally starting to get back into my healthy eating routine again along with exercise. I had a major setback after my knee surgery. I feel sooo much better about life when I'm on track.

Ds is sick, and my throat is sore today. I think Ava may be getting something too. Keeping my fingers crossed it's nothing major and passes quickly.

Ava has been trying to crawl this past week. She's finally pulling herself up onto her knees too. She resisted being on her knees for sooo long. It's amazing the progress she's made in just 2 weeks!

Have a wonderful day, all!

Long day...PMS has me bad....Got home and there was a present in the kitchen from my SIL to dh and I, an espresso machine and a new coffee grinder! http://di1.shopping.com/images1/pi/bb/e9/66/22899679-177x150-0-0_ESP8XL.jpg

I love it...can't wait for morning...

Walked with dh, had a light dinner and now vegging out.

We didn't get Sarah after all... :( Dawn called and they were short a doctor, so she didn't need to go in.
Company came late and left early... had a good visit though. I'm not much of an entertainer... but it felt good.

The doctor gave my mom a new prescription yesterday and I'm so happy to say that whatever it was he gave her has helped her breathing and arm pain enormously. She was actually able to go out for a few "long" walks today, something she hasn't been able to do in over 3 months. Even the wind blowing in her face didn't bother her... so am keeping my fingers crossed that this continues. She was in such a good mood tonight when I called her... it was so nice to hear.

anyway... hope you all had a good day.

I hope ds feels better quickly and also that you/Ava don't get it. We all had it around here and... it isn't fun.
I love Ava's age when they're trying/learning so many new things. Cute age...

Oh Diane great news about your mom!

Thanks... I'm so happy/excited for her. It's nice to call and have her sound good again. She's been so down lately... kind of depressing. :( I was glad to see the change.
