Okay, my sister is 36 years old and she thinks she is pregnant. But she took two pregnancy tests they came up negative still she hasn’t got her period in 3 months and she went to the doctor in the summer time and he said she is no where near menopause and anyways when you get menopause you have your periods more and quicker. Please tell me could she be pregnant even though the pregnancy tests are negative? Thanks a lot.

has she been to the doctor since she has missed her picture? is she showing any other signs of being pregnanat?
and usually, with perimenopause, your period is shorter and farther apart.

I would sometimes miss, (sometimes many months) of my periods if/when I was over stressed (stress can affect many things in our lives, including our periods. Sometimes we can get so stressed out that our bodies produce hormones that halt our bleeding) or when I was exercising a lot or was vigoriously loosing a lot weight. Could either of these be a possibility? How has she feen feeling otherwise... has she been ill at all? I would suggest that if she hasn't already done so, she should make an appointment and be seen by her doctor.
