I came across some shish-k-bob baskets for the grill that
I've used once because they're too small for the pieces to fit in. Did I get rid of them, though? No....just in case I think of a use for them someday  .

What have you got in your kitchen that seemed like a great idea when you got it, but just sits collecting dust?

The little Pampered Chef doohickey that you put in the bottom of a pan to avoid boil over.

You know the little dodad that holds the tomato (onion or whatever) while you slice it? I have one of those, but it's useless because I never remember I have it. It's really a handy little thing, lol!

A spaghetti pot that I always forget I have until after I've already boiled my spaghetti. I've had it for years and years and have yet to use it.

I also have a device called an egg~stractor. It peels the shell off the egg... like that!! except, again... I always forget I have it until after my eggs are all peeled. I'm sure there are a few more, but I can't think of them right now. ?(

Is this like the bird for the center of you pie that whistles steam so the pie doesn't boil over? I have one and have never used it...its for fruit pies....I feel weird putting it in the center of my pie, what if it cracked....its on my stove as a decoration, cute, but useless

The Pampered Chef sandwich pocket cutter--or whatever it is called. :crazyroll I finally broke down and bought one off of Ebay and then neither of my kids like their sandwiches that way.

Useless all round gadget, I'm sure there are many out there I know nothing about, but it does make you wonder who thinks these things up.

MY most useless was a melon baller but to be honest it made a great telephone when the kids were little or a bath toy that whooshed the soap suds out of the little hole in the back. Those soap suds went so high!

I have an egg slicer for slicing boiled eggs, that I never remember I have.
