Good morning! I just dropped brichard at the airport again. The fog is terrible this morning but it looks like his flight is on time.

I'm volunteering at ds's school today. Only 2 1/2 days to go!! Whee! :yippee:

My mom's got an appointment this morning, so I'm picking her up at 9:30, after that I'm taking her to the grocery store, then probably to Menards to pick up a few more flowers. She wasn't feeling the best last night, so I'm hoping she's feeling better this morning.

The city is finally finishing our roads today, putting on the top layer of blacktop... so it's probably going to be pretty noisy around here. I'm not going in for training today, I've got to find out what hours the gal training me in has this week and go accordingly. I wish I already knew everything... :) I'm hating this learning process, just too much to take in at once. So much more to learn. I'd probably feel much more comfortable if dh could teach me... he knows everything, but he just doesn't have the time because he's busy with everything he needs to do. At least after were moved home, if I get stuck he'll be there to help. ;)

It's only suppose to get in the upper 50's today... I can't believe how cold it still is. Some surrounding area's had FREEZE warnings last night. Way below normal temperatures for this time of the year.

Woke up thinking it was Thursday and had to convince myself otherwise. It still doesn't seem right that it's only Tuesday. lol
Ds4 had an upset belly last night, hope today is better for him. Need to do some laundry and pick up a few groceries. It's very chilly here today too. We haven't had really great weather in a long time, even the warmer days don't feel as warm as they should because of the cooler breezes.

When I woke up this morning it was humid and 63 degrees, now it is 55 and cold breezes. It is a good thing that I sent ds to school with a t-shirt and shorts on. :rolleyes: Oh and they have swimming class today, so they walk to the highschool.:grimace:

I am back at Sparkpeople.com with a vengenace today. I want to drop those last 3-4 lbs to get to my ultimate goal weight. And if it comes off fast, than I plan on being greedy and dropping an extra 5lbs. LOL That would put me very close to college weight. I figure with Cape Cod coming up in July with the girls, I want to be really fit. I just need to get one really good day behind me and I am good to go.

I extended an olive branch to my sister yesterday...the one who's dd has decided I'm not worthy of her anymore, lol. When I went to see my Dad on my lunch yesterday, a nurse asked if I was a family member and proceeded to tell me of an appt. she made for him at the hospital on June 12. She said she didn't know if a family member wanted to meet him there. I asked if she'd called *M* (since *M* is the power of attorney for his health). She said she hadn't and should she call her and I said yes. Well, I decided to call *M* myself after work and ask if the home called. They hadn't :grimace:, so I filled her in and told her that if she'd like, I could leave work and pick her up and we could meet Dad at the hospital together. I know for a fact, that had I just told her what the nurse said, she wouldn't meet Dad there on his own, so this way at least my offering to go with her will get her there.

DH and I took my niece's dog for a loooong walk last night (almost 4 miles)...he's such a good dog and we really enjoy walking him.

Good morning everyone. I just put ds down for a morning nap, so here I sit. I am not really sure what the day holds today. I know I need to do some laundry, and other than that, just really not sure. I am feeling really low, so I want to do something to cheer myself up.

He is training salespeople in NC again. They got rid of the trainer there (the position we would have moved there for.) He is gone this week, then back for a week, then gone for 10 days.

It was a strange day at work today- can't explain why though, it just felt weird. Tomorrow's another day. Homework tonight and then The Bachelorette. I can't believe it's on for 2 hours. I hope I can stay awake. LOL Maybe I should take a nap.

Grrr, I'm grumpy today. This week I'm off from boot camp so I'm able to sleep in....or so I thought. My neighbor decides to mow his lawn at 7am!! Who mows their lawn at 7am?? He didn't finish til 8am, so I was wide awake by then and unable to go back to sleep.:rolleyes: Both dd2 and ds woke up grumpy too. I think we all need a nap. lol

Dd found out on Friday that she made top band 2nd chair for 7th grade next year. She's really excited! All that practicing paid off.

I've got lots more packing and laundry to do, but I'm not in the mood to deal with it today. I'm hoping we can get to Lowe's tonight to order the appliances for the kitchen. It's getting close to installation day, so we need to act fast.

Anige, does brich come home most weekends or just this past one since it was a long weekend? I know I was so glad when dh was home for good and he got to come home on the weekends! LOL!

Renee, HB to your dh!! Sounds like you're having quite a time with your sil. How fun! :)

Worked both jobs already and home for the night. Need to work on laundry, dh and dd have gone to see his mom and dad and I need dinner and I also got a bug to make cupcakes... guess I should get off of here, huh?

He will be home for the weekends except for father's day weekend. Just the way the timing/schedule worked out. So we'll have to celebrate father's day with mom's bf and brichard's dad.
