My grandmother died yesterday, :bawling:
She married my Mothers father (my grandpa) back in 1976, she was wonderful, the only real grand mother we had, as my fathers mother lived back east...she was a teacher, so we would spend lots of time with my grandparents in the summer....she was fun, alway had time to listen and share....she will be missed....the last few years she had had a few strokes, and was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. It was pretty rough on her daughters.
I was notified by an emailed, which hurt, then I goggled my grandmothers name and obituary notice, for funeral information...it was a beautifully written notice, but I was so sad not to see my mother or brother and my name listed as survivors.... it hurt not to be recognized as one of her grandchildren, I wonder why we were left off?
She will be missed and remembered in my heart for always.
