Were home! Got back yesterday afternoon, It was wonderful and we are all sad its over. The weather was great it, we hit the beach everyday and we all seem rested physically and mentally, it was just what we needed...my plan today is to rest up and get the laundry done.

It sounds like the perfect vacation! That's exactly how I feel about this week...we had a fun 3 days in the Dells, and then a very relaxing and unscheduled 4th of July weekend. We all needed the time to destress, I think!

Now....to just be able bottle that feeling....and take a dose during the year whenever we need it! ;)

Mary and Renee, glad you both enjoyed your get aways so much.
So far, went to church and came home for lunch. Ds4 should be ready for a nap soon. Church had a visiting choir from a private school, young kids, wow, they were absolutely fantastic. I was talking to a lady at church, she is a school teacher and has taught all of my kids at some point so far. Anyhow, she was helping another teacher clean out her classroom and they came across a book that ds1 did in the second grade. It was a project that they worked on, they had to write and illustrate the book and then it was bound with a hard cover. Ds1 dedicated the book to me and there it was all these years in her classroom. So the other one took it home and she said she would drop it off at some point. :) I can't wait to see it.
Going to work on laundry today and get a few groceries later. Have a good day all :)

Neither dh or I had a very good nights sleep last night... I thought for sure that after not sleeping the night before that I'd conk out the second my head hit the pillow... but it was well after 3:00 AM before I fell asleep. Dh ended up sleeping downstairs because he was afraid he was keeping me awake. Very unlike both of us not to sleep... so hopefully it's not something that's going to continue happening.

I can't believe what a beautiful weekend (weatherwise) we've had. It's been gorgeous outside... actually kind of hot, but perfect for those out camping or at the beach. Dd is coming over in a bit to use the pool. Were not sticking around too long because were going to go look at some new computers. Dh wants to get a Mac laptop and another one for the desk. We can't really purchase anything though until everything has been approved. I think we finally picked out our carpet yesterday, so at least that's done. Now if I can get dh to pick/chose the paint color I'll be happy, because then I'll finally be able to get the painting. Lots to do and not a lot of time to do it... yet dh just wants to take his time.  Ugh...

We met some friends for breakfast this morning, then stopped at Great Clips so dh could get a haircut, then to GNC to pick up some vitamin's. I still need to water my garden's and fix up some of my planters that the squirrels dug up. (stupid things!!!! :grimace: ) I may end up having to go somewhere to buy a few new plants to replace some of the ones they destroyed. Not too sure they're even selling what I need anymore. :( Dd's here so I'd better get going.

I hope you're all having a good day.
