Boy scout camp

I am looking for encouragement here. dh is taking both boys up to the mtns to a boy scout camp next week. I know they will have a great time and yet I am neurotic enough to worry that they will get lost, be eaten by a bear or worse yet. :(
I don't want to make dh think I believe he is incompetent (and yet I probably already have) but I am just such a worrier!! Help!! thanks for letting me vent!!

They'll be with a group, won't they? Is this boy scout, or cub scout camp? I'm sure it's a bit different in Colorada, but when my kids have gone on overnight scout trips here, its been pretty tame. In fact dh refused to go on the last camping trip in Stillwater because you could see the Taco Bell sign from where they camped LOL!

Is this with the Cub scout den/pack? They will be fine. When ds was in Cub Scouts because of the 2 man deep rule, the kids were very well supervised...probably better than at home! LOL

I am a worrier too, so I know that I would be nervous. Just keep reminding yourself that they are in good hands, and everything will be okay.

Your encouragement helped. I am looking forward to them going and having fun. :) It is a cub scout camp and about 6 boys from their den are going. They are really looking forward to it.
I am not sure what I am going to do w/so much peace and quiet though. probably try to work on my scrapbooks!!
