Sounds like a fun day Ann, enjoy. :)
Dh and ds2 went to help the Priest move out. Our new one comes in a couple of weeks but not sure when he will actually move into the house. This one moving today has been here one year. He's great but I guess they had other plans for him in a teaching position. Sometimes they don't have too much say in where they go. Before that we had one for 3 years, a couple before that so people are complaining that we've had too many in the last while, hope this one sticks around. lol Not sure what my day holds, depends on the weather. It's dreary right now so I'll get some housework done this morning and hopefully spend the afternoon outside.
Have a nice Saturday all :)
Heading home from the beach today. I'm online trying to check us in for our flight, but I can't get AA to come up. I'm going to try one more time, then I'll have to take it to dh.
See ya'll tomorrow.

Ann- I'm 100% in favor of many, many celebrations for you. Hope you enjoy them all.
Mel- Getting a new pastor is a bit scary for me. I understand why the Bishop re-assigns, but I always wonder "what if the new guy is awful?" It has almost always worked out though. I went to a new church when I moved here (my church, with the priest who was so helpful and supportive to me is on the same street as my old house, and the 'steps' go there), and for almost a year I waited to develop some connection. Dd and I went to a nearby church (yes, there are 4 Catholic churches in my tiny city), and felt the 'click' the first time. Yahoo- a new home!!
Donna- Have a safe trip.
Quiet today. 2 of the girls are off to Boston for a little vacation and a game at Fenway. The other is at a festival with some friends and will be home tomorrow. I had a friend from work over last night for dinner. It was the first time any of my friends (or family, except for one sister) has been in my house. She was very nice about it, and didn't run screaming in horror, so that was nice. LOL I have a book and some warm weather to occupy me. Sure hope the sun comes back. Have a good Saturday all!
Morning all  up and showered, I even did a home micro derma-abrasion treatment
I need to run some errands and get my house cleaned up.
The weather is gorgeous, I am hoping we can get out and enjoy it at some point :)
Hope everyone have a nice day.

We were suppose to go see dh's aunt at the nursing home this morning but she called to ask if we could come next Saturday instead. Dh wasn't too upset about that... he wasn't too happy when I told him about my plans to go see her... said we had too much to do :grimace: something I've been telling him for over a month now. I'm sure I'll hear about it next weekend too. :( Anyway, he's out mowing the lawn, then he's finally going to get going in the rooms that will soon be our offices. They're pretty much cleaned/cleared out except for a few heavier things I couldn't move by myself... but I'm glad to see that he's finally getting into it. ;) There is still so much we have to do.
Today would have been my mom/dad's 61st wedding anniversary... so my mom's having a hard/sad day today thinking about that. Some years (when she remembers) she goes on and on about it... and other year's she say's nothing. I'm sure it's hard/sad... but it's also so hard to know what to do/say to get her out of it. I guess it's just something she needs to go through herself. :(
Not much else on the agenda. Oh yeah... I'm planning on making my dump cake today... I'll let you know how it turns out. :licklips:
Hope you all have a wonderful Saturday.... take care!

I had a fun time last night. I had my hair styled, nails painted and my eyebrows waxed. Afterward we went to Starbucks and hung out. Today is a housework day and dd#2 is having 2 friends spend the night tonight. I've got to get some groceries in this house!! Tonight is the Hannah Montana 3D something on TV, the girls are excited!

That was the fear here a year ago because we are good friends with the priest we had at the time. It was tough to see him go but we still get together. The one we've had the past year was a nice guy but much more introverted and didn't socialize much and that is one of the things our parish likes. Our friend is very social and is missed greatly. Not sure what the new one is going to be like, all I know is he has champagne tastes (we have a homemade wine budget rofl). He has 3 little dogs and that's all I know. I really hope it works out, we are in need of someone to stick around and has the parish at their best interest. We'll see :)
A book and warm weather sounds great, enjoy.
Well went to school yesterday to get going on my room. I pull up and see way to many teachers' cars there. As I head in I meet all Kdg. teachers heading to their buildings. I head to the office. All lights are out. Pissed cause I've been to school several times needing help from the office and no one's there. Ask the counselor what's going on.
Well they are having a workshop. I ask if it was on the schedule and was told no but that the principal had called everyone to tell them about it. I said no one had called me and I was a little miffed about it. Went on to my room to try and get started. About 5 minutes later the counselor came to me and said the principal said I could join the workshop when it reconvened after a break. I did and was even allowed to sign in and get full credit for the day.
I didn't have a stitch of make-up on thought. That was weird.
Ex-dil saw my car at school and showed up at 3:00 to see if I'd watch the kids for a little while. Sooooooooo, I still haven't started on my room!

Not much happened here this morning...everyone felt kind of lazy! We went out for lunch, and are going to a play (a friend of ds's is in it) tonight.
When does school start for you??? Are you doing the K/1 combo class again??
I have one workshop next week. Then one more week of vacation. More workshops the week after that and students arrive on the 18th.
I am doing the Transition Class again.
