Morning all, our movie last night was a NO NO, so we ended up getting something else which was fine "Spider wick Chronicals" I was super tired and fell asleep pretty early...

No huge plans for today....light housework, and some laundry, the usual weekend chores....

Hoping to grill some chicken and veggie kabobs later and maybe break out the smore fixins :)

I'm the only one up so far. DS3 might be awake, but I haven't seen him yet. The boys and dh and one of dh's friends and business associates went to the John Mayer concert last night. Unfortunately one of our upstairs air conditioning units isn't working, so the friend is sleeping on the couch. 2 of the boys' room is on a seperate unit, and the other 2 kids are toughing it out. Hope we can get someone over here today. We actually have a neighbor who owns a heating/cooling business, but he made a pretty bad impression when he came over for our housewarming/Memorial Day/DH's parent's anniversary party, so we're reluctant to call him. The thing is, I'm sure they'll see the competitor's truck at our house, so it might cause a little tension.

Not too much going on around here. I've still got to put in a phone call to my mom, talked with my sister for about an hour last night. I don't talk with her too often, so it was nice to have that time/conversation with each other. She's picking my mom up at 2:00 today and bringing her over to my neices house. Every two months they get together at someone house to have a theme meal, German, Chinese... Italian, American... etc., everyone brings something. My mom's really looking forward to a day away from the house... Of course, I've got to go take the dog out for his walks, but I don't mind doing that as long as I know she's getting some time away and having fun. :thumb:

We had a blast with Sarah... was almost sad to see her leave yesterday, but I guess I was kind of ready. She sure knows how to keep you busy. :lol: She's turned out to be quite the young lady... were so proud of her and all of her accomplishments.

It's going to be another gorgeous day... no rain in the forecast, but it's suppose to get hot and very humid a little later, so I'm sure we'll be turning the air conditioner on. Seeing my neck is feeling MUCH better, I'm going to attempt to finish taking the rest of the star's off the ceiling. We all thought they were sooo cool when she put them up there... not quite as thrilled about them now that they need to come down. :lol:

Besides working in/on the offices, there isn't much more on the agenda.

dh and dd are going to see his parents. dd is not all that thrilled. she had made plans to go to the river with a friend, but never actually had a specific date. dh planned this without telling her. the friend calls with the date and dh says 'oh, i am taking you to grandma and grandpa's that weekend'. i tried to tell him that was a little unfair to her, but he didn't see it that way. so they are going today and coming back tomorrow. dd is not thrilled especially because of the last vist.

i am going back to Dave and Busters today for a whole club team building outing. all the new employees will be there. should be interesting.

This is day 3 of my new state of mind...and I'm loving it. I went out with dbf and a friend and I made a point to "get dress to go out". I felt good, Happy and we had fun just B**s**ing. :)

It was rated PG-13 and had Drake Bell from Nickelodeons Drake and Josh, it was Naked Gun Jr.

Doing laundry today and getting ready to go to bil's cottage tomorrow. We're all meeting there along with sil and her gang for lunch and visit and then they are all leaving, we are staying until Tuesday. Kids are excited, will be nice to get away and enjoy the lake. Have a good day all :)

This was really bad, Naked Gun, Slap stick American Pie, like bumping and grinding simulating sex, a guy grabs a woman full on frontal by her breasts...I think it had the wrong rating personally.

I need a nap. Dh and his brother started working on replacing siding at 7:30 this morning, so since I was awake, I started house cleaning, and got dd up. LOL
I had some returns to make and we've done that. Dh is done, and we are waiting for a friend of dd's to finish her shopping then she's headed over to spend the night.

Beef burgundy is in the crock pot and we'll take the girls to putt putt (dd got free tokens for her report card) then we'll head downtown to the Krispy Kreme place for HOT DOUGHNUTS NOW. They give a free doughnut for every A on your report card (per grading period). That'll be fun. Dh announced "I want my own dozen". ROFL

i have only seen the original hairspray movie or the musical. i haven't seen the movie, so i don't know.

in the mama mia thread i talked about two scenes.

went to the kids in mind site..here is their description of the two scenes i was thinking about. also one guy comes out gay at the end, if that bothers you.

A young man tries to seduce an older woman: she wraps a towel around his shoulders then moves down off screen and his face suggests that she might be doing something sexual but we see that she had been tying a towel around his waist in the shape of a diaper (there is an extended song and dance sequence where she refuses him and he chases after her). yes, nothing actually happens and you see the joke at the end, but it's definitely sugestive.

Many young women dance around two men while singing and tying them to poles and we see them caressing them and lifting the shirt of one (no sex is implied). .
sex might not be implied but it was definitely sexy! LOL and a little unsettling cause the girls were much younger.

Not too much going on here today. We went to town today and finished getting the stuff for ds's birthday. My mom bought her and my dad's present for him, and I bought the wrapping paper and cups I needed. Now I have to buy the food and I will be done. I will buy that closer to next Saturday....I can't believe he will be two.:bawling: It seems like he was just born.

We are grilling out now, and it smells yummy; I really am not that hungry though.
