I don't think I'd ever have a peaceful night's sleep again if I found one of those in my house! UGHHH! I would absolutely FREAK OUT!
Okay, that is just wrong! When we lived in our farmhouse in Colorado, we found a wolf spider in our mudroom and I thought THAT was wrong. LOL http://www.appliedpestcontrol.org/images/Wolf_Spider_2.JPG
 I think we were the ones with the snake in our foyer, too, lol. It was just a teeny-tiny one (tiny enough for dd to think it a rubber band and try to pick it up!). I'd rather have a tarantula than a hurricane... sorta!
Dh tipped a wastepaper basket over the top of it, slid a piece of cardboard underneath and turned it right side up. Dd2 carried it down the street and let it go. :nervous: I was yelling at dh to kill it but it wold have made an awful spot on the carpet!
I'm just very grateful to have seen it so that it didn't end up in someone's bed! :nervous:
Wolf spiders majorly creep me out, too Amy!

(this may not be good for Amy to read but...) when dd was at camp last summer, she had a wolf spider on her bed! Freaked all the girls out!

ROFL! I am too far north for any of those creepies now. I am glad to say we have nothing venomous up this way. One of the reasons why I love the North. LOL That and we don't get hurricanes and earthquakes. ;)

ROFL! I thought so, but needed clarification. ;)
what's bad about all this stupid over-coverage is that for people who aren't from here, they begin to not believe the media and when a real storm comes, they won't take it seriously and we are due a big one.

I hate spiders of any kind.

That was me. We had a snake in our foyer that was in the process of eating a frog. I took a video clip of it with my digital. Don't know if I took any stills or not. I might have to dig around and try to find that. I can still remember dh coming in with a hedge trimmer asking, "I wonder how much he'll bleed" and me yelling "not on my floors!"

One of my teachers told a story of waking up one day with a tarantula the size of a dinner plate sprawled across his face! 8o 8o 8o (we really need a fainting smilie! ) Thankfully our uninvited houseguest was only 4-5 inches in diameter.
