well, its been a busy summer so far....quit smoking yet again...hopefully I can quit for good this time...watched that special on abc about women and smoking....yuck...plus this thyroid operation has kinda gotten me to thinking of my long term life plan....LoL :lol: you know living.....so I am on the patch again....wish me luck...my surgery isn't going to happen until after Sept. 4th, after vacation and after school starts for my little ones....I guess thats good....just wish it was yesterday so it was over already...?( My kids have been on my puter since summer started...its great that they are so interested in the learning programs I have for them, but they are eating up my puter time.....:( although I am getting tons of yard work done and caught up...dh's family is starting to get on my nerves, you all know I live in a one hundred and fifty year old house that is, well falling down around me....we dh is off again this evening helping one of his siblings do work around thier house.....hello...I need dry wall in my bathroom too....not really angry at dh, but geeze his family is so selfish sometimes and they really don't think of what it entails for him to drive there and back....let alone the toll it takes on me....stressed out mommy.....anyhow...the board looks so different...and I must catch up.....again...wish me luck on not smoking....and making it through the summer without my puter at me every whim......

Have you told your dh how you feel about him helping out his family while ya'll need stuff done around your house?

Good luck on your stop smoking venture. I hope it all goes well. I hope that the surgery will also go well for you too. Keep us updated. I know what you mean about stuff needing to be done around there and your dh helping out others. I have been in that boat not too long ago. They just don't know how to say no do they? LOL!!!! But they are so good hearted that it is hard to be mad at them.

Love the Honey do list....dh strolled in around 7:00 am this morning.....gotta love it, he worked all night with his sister to get the job done....slept for a couple hours here and tackled two jobs I have been bugging him about....so those are done...he did say the he has way more confindence doing our drywall now...LOL...anyhow, we went shopping and had a nice day...still not smoking and feeling really good about my decision...to quit that is......thanks for the encouragement.....I am to old to think I can out live this addiction....so....A non smoker I am....
