Ideas for Space Unit this fall

I am doing a theme on Space to start the year this fall. I could use some snack ideas, art projects, and science projects. I teach
preschool children from age 21/2 to 5 years old. I have started a file folder from some internet sites I visited. But, I like to get as much stuff as I can before planning so that I have a variety of activities for the kids. I also teach two preschool groups-Monday,
Wednesday, Friday, and Tuesday, Thursday. My MWF group is older and my TTH group is much younger. I like to change my centers everday, if possible, to make it more exciting for those children who attend both programs. Any suggestions, internet
sites, etc. would be appreciated. Thanks!

In my class we talked about constalations(sp) and we made a class book by using star stickers. I gave each child a sheet of construction paper and 10-20 star stickers to make a constalation out of. They then connect the stars and name their constalation.

We also covered our table with a sheet and all got under it and went on a pretend trip to the moon. I made each child a control panel and gave diffrent jobs to each one. I hid small rocks around our room and we collected them to take back to earth.
