View Full Version : Sunday
Morning all!
I'm not really up all that early even though it's 6am on Sunday. I fell asleep before 9pm last night. We're finally taking the sailing class that I bought dh for his birthday. We had to postpone it twice - once because dh's Dad died, and once because dh was too sick to go. We'll decide today if we want to continue on with the intermediate class and get certifide.
I'm going to take this week to decide if I want to continue with the jobs I have, or if I want to change things up a bit. I really think the school job would work better if I were there M/T/W rather than the M/W and every other Friday that I'm there now. The thing is, I'd have to quit at Easter Seals if I do. I think my contract has a two week cancellation stipulation on it for them (I recall that the school's was a month), so before we get into the really heavy ARD season at school, I need to make a decision. I think I'll send my contract agency guy an email and see what he thinks and let him handle it - that's why I pay him the big bucks.
Better get going so we can be ready for sailing at 9.
Morning. Coffee and paper is read and now we are sitting down to eat. Today we are going to MIL's house to pick up some overstock veggies from her garden. She has been freezing and canning all summer long and she still has 100s of pounds of potatoes, 100 acorn/ spaghetti squash/butternut squash and 50 watermelons. I still can't believe all the crap they grew and it was only the two of them. LOL
Later we are going to visit my dad at the hospital. He gets transferred to Rehab tomorrow for a couple of weeks. If I live through that, I have bulk shopping to do.
For those who have fishtanks....how in the world do you reconcile that it costs over $140 for the set up and $12 for lousy fish?LOL
try $300 for a FREE turtle! LOL

survived homecoming. there was confusion on who was picking the kids up at the end cause some of the kids changed plans; but they all looked cute and liked the dinner.

I fell asleep on the couch last night and it's where I woke up this morning! Brichard is off to teach at church this morning. I still need to get ready. We have life group this afternoon and dd#2 is going to a birthday party. I really must get to the grocery store later today.
Have a great day all!
up but need coffee badly :)
House work, laundry...the usual routine.
Oh and I need to make a real list and hit the supermarket at some point in the next few days.

Dh has gone to church, ds2 and ds3 went with him. I was no where near ready as I slept in. Ds4 was napping and ds1 is still sleeping on the couch after being up late watching movies. Going to finish cleaning the laundry room/washroom downstairs. I had stuff on shelves for ages that needed to be thrown out or organized. Still have to do under the sink and then wash everything. Laundry to do and a kitchen to clean. Need to get something planned for dinner too. Busy day but oh well, then it's done for tomorrow and I can relax with ds4.
Have fun sailing Donna.
Amy, I plan on getting the kids all their own fish tanks for Christmas but just the cheap 30$ or less ones. We used to have a big tank but it was miserable to clean.
Have a good day all :)

I heard dh get up this morning... thought about getting up, but then I must have fallen back to sleep because I didn't wake up until I heard him turn his hair dryer on. Hopped out of bed, made it right away... jumped into the shower and just made it in time to meet our friends for breakfast. Dh's working on the shelving in my office... the sun just finally came out... it was raining when we woke up this morning. Hopefully it will end up being a better day than it started. I'm still feeling tired with not much ambition. Not quite feeling 100%. Nothing much more on the agenda.
I hope you all have a great rest of the day!

the tank with filter was only $39. It was the vacuum, heater, rocks, plants, fake coral decoration, conditioners, food and bacterial treatment that was $95 yesterday.

Up early to do Sunday school and church. Dd stayed for youth choir and dh went to visit his parents since his brother is in town. They came by last night to see the paint job while dd and I were getting ready for cotillion. I forbade him to let them in. LOL
He's gotta mow, she's got homework, and I've got laundry. We'll take her back to church at 5:30 for youth group and dh and I might go for a long walk.
I am still feeling bad and guess I'll have to go to the dr. this week and get some new drugs. Ugh.

Today went much better than yesterday and we signed up for the intermediate class.
