I hate when you try to talk to someone just general conversation. And their having a bad day so they give you additude rather then just say....I'm not in a good mood can we talk later?

My sister was just all cranky at me an now I'm cranky:bawling: ugh!!!

 are you talking about MY sister? ;) I've got one that's like that too... and also a dd who you don't want to call at the wrong time either. :grimace: You can generally tell by the way they answer their phone... which is why I seldom ever call them, it usually ends up leaving me in a bad mood too.

Try not to let it bother you... you know you didn't do anything, and they'll realize it too, and will probably call you later... hopefully in a much better mood. ;)

I'm like that sometimes. I'm upset about something else and bark at whoever is closest. I'm not proud of it, but it happens. Nothing personal to the person I'm barking at. My sis and mom are the same way so I guess I come about it naturally.

My brother is the worst. When he was first married you would call and he would say 'uh..this really isn't a good time, we are busy' wink wink.
well don't answer the damn phone then!!!!!!

LOL...
Even if/when I'm in a bad mood, I cover up well and will still answer the phone in a pleasant way. The second my sister/dd answer the phone and I hear that "tone"... it just makes me want to hang up right away and pretend I didn't call. ;) I guess some people are just like that... ;)

My problem with that is that my Mom and Sister will let it ring just up until the answering machine will kick in and then proceed to call back every 15-30 minutes until someone answers. RME

You would think they would give up, but they never do. ROFL After the third attempt on their part, I usually pick up, but I end up being crabby for them deliberately tracking me down for no real reason other than they decided they wanted to chat.

That's my sister... if you don't answer your phone she'll hang up and call you back over and over again. One time (before we had voice mail) she let the phone ring over 35 times... hung up, and in two minutes called again. (Dawn and James were visiting and I didn't feel like answering the phone) You'd think she'd just assume you're busy or not home and call back later... but she wouldn't let up. Then my cell phone started ringing. Dawn couldn't get over her persistency. LOL When I finally did answer the phone she jumped my @$$ royal because I didn't answer my phone. Then my mom called wondering what was up because she'd called my mom and wanted to know if she knew where we were/what was wrong. Ugh...

I usually don't answer if I am not in the mood to talk.

If I'm in a cranky mood and don't want to talk when the phone rings I will look at whoever is closest to me and say "it's for you" and walk away. Then they have the choice on answering the phone or not.

It's funny how everyone reacts different.

I can't stand not to answer a ringing phone, unless it comes up on caller ID that's it's someone I don't really care to talk with. It use to be a PITA when there was no such thing as caller ID... and I ended up talking with everyone who called.
