I'm glad your party was fun, Ann! Sounds like the food was yummy!!

We have ds2's basketball game this morning. Ds1 spent the night at a friend's house, so we'll get him after the game. Coming home to get some errands, cleaning, etc. done. Dks are going to a Youth Group Open Gym event tonight. I just heard that we are expecting another 4" of snow tonight. Geez......it's too early for this much snow! We've had something like 39" during December this year. We'll definitely be having a white Christmas.

Sounds like a fun party Ann.
Mary, I have to do the same as you with errands and cleaning. I have to skip out today and get the last few gifts and then home to clean. Can't stand up for too long today so I'm sure I will have to have the boys give me a hand. Not sure how I can survive if the stores have big line ups and I'm sure they will. Maybe I can talk dh into going with me before he has to be somewhere at noon. Have a good day all :xmas:

Well, dh and I tried to finish up the roof (tar paper) on the new house this morning, but it was still wet and icy. :( We'll head back out there later to see if it's do-able. If not, we'll snap some more chalk lines inside so we can see where the walls are going to go. We did the master bedroom this morning and now I can REALLY see what it's going to be like, lol! It's 20'2"x16' so that's not bad. Definitely bigger than our 12'x12' here! :D

I need to go to the store for some groceries I forgot, wrap presents, pick up this pit, do some pre-prep for meals this week and maybe help dh make his cookies. I'm tired already, lol.

Ann, I hate those 50* temp differences in one day!

Renee, what are the movies you have for today?

Mary, you can send your extra snow our way. :D We were cold enough for snow this morning, but no wet stuff.

{{{Mel}}} I hope you get your shopping done.

Vea, good idea putting off the baking!

I was back at the church at 7am and we were finished with the deliveries of gifts and food to 40 families by noon. It's always such a heart lifting day! I ran to Walmart to return crates and racks, then to Goodwill to drop off leftover items. I did nap this afternoon for a little over an hour. I picked up and delivered a sandwich tray and set up dinner for the tech crew at church tonight. I was going to have to go back to clean up but they said no, they would clean up. Yeah! I need to work on my house again while brich is performing.

I can't believe we even went out in this weather... it was just awful today. It dropped 20 degree's in 1 hour... it started snowing, the winds picked up... the roads were so icy, there were a lot of car's in the ditch, thank God our's wasn't one of them. We had soo many errands we HAD to run, no choice. We started out our morning by dropping my car off at Tires Plus. While my car was there we stopped at the bank, post office... and then to Rainbow to pick my mom's turkey up for Christmas dinner. She wanted a 26 pd. turkey, but the largest one we could find was 25 pounds, which will have to do. We dropped that off at her house, picked my car up on the way back... dropped that off at the house, then we went to SAM's Club. I got just about everything I needed for "our" Christmas celebration (with the girls/SIL's) on Christmas Eve... but I still need to hit the grocery store on Tuesday to get what I expected to find there, but didn't. 8o My mom also needs to do her grocery shopping for her Christmas dinner, so I'm planning on getting all that done on Tuesday. I'm really really excited about Christmas but... I'm going to be soooooo happy when it's all done and over with. As much as I love the Holiday's... by the time they're all done and over with, I'm left feeling totally exhausted!

I called our friends tonight (the ones we usually meet for breakfast every Sunday morning) and told her not to expect us in the morning... I heard the roads are going to be even worse, and it's just not worth it. As a matter of fact, I don't plan on going ANYwhere tomorrow. Can you believe I still need to put my tree up? LOL Talk about being a slacker...

Anyway, hope you all had a great day today.
