Member Titles

Member titles are determined by the number of posts that I user has. For example, currently a new member's title is "Newbie" until they reach 15 posts, at which time their title switches to "Member". After 30 posts they graduate to "Regular Member". Currently that's all this board has.

We can change these user titles and minimum posts to anything we want. For example, on FamilyCorner here are the user titles and post count minimums:

FamilyCorner Newbie 0
FamilyCorner Admirer 75
FamilyCorner Groupie 250
FamilyCorner Junkie 750
FamilyCorner Fanatic 2,000
FamilyCorner Addict 5,000
FamilyCorner Postaholic 10,000
FamilyCorner Maniac 25,000
FamilyCorner Lunatic 75,000

Obviously we went with a theme on FC ;) We can do the same thing here, makes it more fun for members. Any ideas on titles?

LMAO Well that's why we did that on FC, everyone would joke about it. In fact there's even a thread called "Are you addicted to FC" that's years and years old. Occasionally the thread gets revived and people start admitting their addiction again LOL!

it's fun, we can make the titles anything you like. It can be generic too if you want. The original ones we had were "new neighbor", "close friend" and things like that.

I know of a child care site that uses childcare type titles. In fact, they don't have to be titles, but rather phrases instead. For example:

Just moved in 0
Just getting acquainted 15
Getting comfortable 40
Among friends 100
Quite neighborly 300
Been around a while 1,000
Roots firmly planted 5,000

Throw some ideas out ladies!

Oh, I probably should mention that if you are a Moderator the default user titles won't show because your moderator title will show instead.

Love it, you're right, it does fit.

One word? Don't know if I could say it all in one word. All I know is we are here for each other. I love these gals, love hearing about joys in their lives and am here to hear the bad stuff too, I can't imagine not knowing them now :)
