Hi all! I finally have time to post! Woohoo!

What a busy few weeks around here....school finished up....my brother/sil and their four boys arrived......I was rear-ended on main street (luckily no damage).....we all went camping.....then they camped at our place for 8 days.....my 5 yr old neice has been here for two weeks and I have a new nephew as of yesterday at 10:49 am.....9 lbs 6 oz!

I am on summer holidays with the kids and I fear it is going to fly by.

I will slowly try to get caught up on the board....I must admit to being a fly by reader the past few weeks so I kinda have kept up, but no doubt have missed alot! :lol:

Hope this finds you all happy and healthy and having a great summer so far.

Your life sounds very busy!! Did I understand correctly that you are just beginning your summer? Wow! I feel like ours is about over with. Only about 5 weeks till school starts again here (I think)

Hi Linda. Summer actually started on June 29 (last day of school), but with all that has been going on it is sure going by fast. We don't go back to school until Aug 28th.

Hi Donna. Always been that way for as long as I can remember. We get 2 weeks at Christmas and 1 week end of March. For the whole school year it works out to 200 days.

How long are your boys off for summer?

Your school year is 20 days longer than ours. Even 180 days seems like waaayy too long. :) It sounds like you need some time to recoup from your summer so far, lol! ;)

Hi Pam. Luckily we were all going slow enough that no one got hurt. The car that got sandwiched in the middle had both bumpers crunched in, but it was an older car with a young girl driving from out of province and she wanted nothing to do with the police (hmmmmm?) so we all just agreed to go our own ways.

For the whole school year it works out to 200 days.

Wow. We only have 178 days for the kids and 185 for teachers. Well enjoy it. I don't blame you for not staying tied to the computer when you could be enjoying your break.

Glad you got a chance to write. Did you go through IB withdrawels? I did when I couldn't check in for that long time. I still get them because I can't check in every day like I want to.
