Teaching Resources (lesson plan, arts & crafts, circle time & group act.)

Hi! This is my first year of teaching and I don't have much teaching resources and knowledge of good books that are effective for preschoolers. So I'd like to ask for your suggestions or recommendations of arts & crafts books with illustrations, that are available in the bookstores, where materials are recyclable or cheap, and the kids would really have fun while doing it. And also books that are best for Circle Time and group activity that you think works well for children. I'd also like to know if you know of any preschool lesson plan book that contains not just guide in making lesson for the day but a lesson plan itself for one school year. Please give me the titles, author, or publisher of your recommended books and website, if any. Any advice, tips or suggestions in teaching preschoolers will be appreciated. hi i am a two year old preschool teacher and may be able to help you out. i have been looking in the ideabox.com and have found alot of songs to use in my room. you may also if you have one go a child development center cause they usually have a good resource library i know for books and even lesson plan kits. we also use our public libray for books and we have a book mobile that goes around to different centers as well as the community people and we check out books that way to read in our group times.i hope that i have been of some help to you.

i have discovered a website that has alot of interesting things on it. the site is www.bv.net/~stormie this website has books that can be purchased. i have found this site to be very helpful.8)

I am a Headstart teacher and :* love the site www.perpetualpreschool.com. Also a good concoctions book is called "THE ULTIMATE BOOK OF KID CONCOCTIONS" by John E. Thomas and Danita Pagel. They also have a website: www.kidconcoctions.com.
