Have you made something recently that you hoped would turn out good but ending up flopping?

I tried a new bread machine recipe for Italian bread on Sunday. I wanted to make pepperoni rolls with the bread. It turned out so sticky and didn't raise the right way - it seemed to be full of air. :( What a bummer!!!!

Funny you should mention pancakes.... My pancakes are usually really good but the last time I made them, they weren't great. :(

Theresa. I sure am glad I didn't have to clean that up. LOL

I have fried fish that would not stay together in one piece. I had fish crumbs. LOL

I've made pancakes that made tyre patches look appetising!

I made some choc chip biscuits/cookies a while ago, recipe to a T, but they were so buttery and slippery. I ended up putting more flour in and using the dough for a slice base, was ok but the recipe went in the bin.

I hate most when you forget just 1 ingredients and it always seems to be an important one!

I hate that, too! I also hate when I spend money on ingredients for a new recipe that I wouldn't normally buy and then we don't end up liking the recipe! I feel like it was such a waste of money!

I am so with you there. Throwing the final result away feels like you are just tossing the cash into the toilet :(
