I love salads, too. YUM!!

We grill a lot in the summer --chicken, pork tenderloin, fish and veggies are among my favs. Oh, I can't forget a good steak, too, but that doesn't happen often.

I LOVE Caprese salad when the tomatoes are juicy and ripe! I'm drooling just thinking about that one. lol!

We eat a lot of seafood in the Summer. We grill a lot of fish. I make different salads using shrimp and crab meat. Hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill with all kinds fixings on them. Love bbq chicken!!

Theresa, Caprese is very good. It's easy to make and delicious......Mozzarella cheese, ripe tomatoes, basil leaves, salt & peper, capers, and extra virgin olive oil.......All I do is put the mozarella slices and tomatoes in a circular design on a plate, then tear the basil and put it over the cheese and tomatoes add salt and peper and the capers.....before you serve sprinkle the extra virgin oil on.........I hate capers and never use them on this, only for company then I use capers..........Tami, is this how you make yours?? I'm interested to know because I just love this salad....

I've never had it with capers on it but I'm sure I would love it that way because I love capers! :) The rest of your description is right on! :loveeye:

Theresa, When you make it use the fresh mozzarella and the mozzarella and tomatoes cut about 1/4 thick.....
