So what has everyone got planned for today? Dh and I are going to help my mom take the grill she bought yesterday out of the truck, and then I am going to wash clothes for dh and I to go to work in tomorrow. I don't think they would look to kindly upon me if I showed up for work my very first day or any day for that matter with no clothes. :lol: I'm a little nervous about it, but I am sure things will go smoothly. Later dh and I will go to town and but some stuff that we need. I don't know what the day holds after that. That will probably take up the day. Hope ya'll have a great day!:)

Today the kids are hoping to go swimming. Our fair starts today with the parade at 5 so I suppose we'll go to that. The kids want to go to the carnival tonite since dh works late the next 3 nights. I'm not sure if it will even be set up though.
4-H entry day is tomorrow. I think the boys finally have everything ready to go. They didn't complete all the projects they signed up for but at least they got something done.

My dishwasher doesn't seem to be rinsing the soap off the dishes so I had to re wash a whole of dishes this morning. All that's left now is the pancake mess dh made feeding the kids this morning.

Morning!

It is hot and wickedly humid here today. Talk of severe tboomers this aftnoon. Everybody is sleeping in around here, so all is still quiet.
Might head to one of the lakes this aftnoon. Other than that, just the usual housekeeping and meal making.

What do you all make for meals when it is so hot outside? Last night we had sub sandwiches, but would like to be a little more creative without having to turn on the stove.

What am I going to do today?.... RELAX :)
The last couple of weeks have been totol craziness. I haven't had time for anything. I think this pregnancy thing is catching up with me. I love the new job but by the time I get home I'm wiped. I have a weeks vacation coming up in another week, then work three more weeks and have two weeks off. We'll have to see what happens in Sept.
Yesterday we moved the rest of our stuff to the new house (which was the majority of it, we had only brought what we really needed before). Now for the UNpacking. I almost think thats worse than the packing. We want to redo the kids bedrooms but that will have to wait a bit.
Today I have decided that I am just taking a ME day. I'm going to sit back, relax, play on the 'puter a bit, read my book and do nothing at all. dh and the kids have gone to Ontario Place with Bil and his kids. They likely won't be back until about 9:00 tonight. Ahhh peace and quiet!!!!!:thumb:

Hi all! We got back home about an hour ago. DS is still off playing golf with my dad, and I am just unpacking. Thought I would check in here though. Ya'll have been busy...lots of posts to read! :)

We just finished up having lunch after going to church this morning. We kept my nephew last night and he is still here. I am expecting visits from my db (to pick up his son) and my SIL (other db wife) so her son can pick up some things he left here last week.

Dh is still working on the laundry. We must have had a ton of laundry because dh seems to have been doing nothing else all weekend!

How was the trip AnnW?

Sorry for the humidity Darlene, maybe the storms will bring in some cooler weather for you!

Hi Angie..we had a great time! The wine tasting in New Orleans was just wonderful..very well done, lots of fun and great wines.
The Beau Rivage is just so much fun. The spa was fantastic. Yesterday we rented a cabana by the pool and lounged all day. The casino wasn't as nice to me, but that did cause me to go to bed early so I am not exhausted! LOL

We got back around midnight last night and brought my nephew home with us. I spent the morning cleaning up from the sale we had on Friday and then we all spent time outside. Youngest ds just woke up and I think we'll head to the pool or another small carnival that's in town.

Welcome back, Ann. Glad you had fun!

Ryleigh - I hear you on the unpacking thing. After all of the work I have out into this move I dread going thru everything again and getting organized once we move. Hang in there and be sure to give yourself lots of breaks!

darlene - When it's this hot out I like to eat out. :lol: We usually grill out or just have something light because sometimes we don't end up beng very hungry when it's so hot.
