Do you make your own furnishings?

In your home do you make your own curtains, cushions, paint your walls and in general make/do your own stuff.

I sew so I make my own cushions and curtains, did you know that you can make a nice valance frill for your bathroom window with just a couple of pillowcases? It's amazing how little it can cost and how easy it is to brighten up your house with spring now in the northern hemisphere.:4-sun:

Change those old pictures in the frames on the walls for new ones, calendars are great for this, how about ...................... ?

I don't do any sewing, but l like to paint, if I'm in the mood. I love to decorate and try new ideas....My dh makes cute little tables he makes great birdhouses too! He built a beautiful set of shelves in our family room. He is very handy around the house......

I love to paint...I do sew but not as much as I used too...I crochet and make all my afghans...and pillows...
