anyone else HATE cleaning?

my house for some strange reason today is grossing me out.....:lol: I mean it....all the beds have been changed, I have vaccuummed all the rooms.....cleaned one complete bathroom....all the showers...but I am still grossed out...have a few more things in the laundry...the kitchen needs a good cleaning....I am in a PMS mood...tired, its hot...need choc.or chips...nothing in my house.....did I mention I'm not in the mood to clean...the kids are whinny today....and this house is a mess....anyone else just hate cleaning....:lol:

Wanna trade houses to clean....it's always more fun to clean someone else's house! :lol:

I did get dd bedroom done this am....I wanted to move her bed and dresser around, but the room is such a small one that it won't work any other way than it already is. At least I was smart and measured before pulling thing around! :D

Going to attempt ds room tomorrow! Now that will be a whole day challenge....not just the morning.

Come on over for cookies and leave your cleaning till another day! :lol:

Yes! That's why I came here. LOL Today is just not my kind of day, I have tried to do laundry but it just didn't work out well, so I will try again after the kids stop whining and bickering. Once I get going, I'm fine, it's just getting going! LOL Some days, I just want to hire a sitter so I can get something accomplished.
Sounds to me like you could use a swim or a bubble bath and a good book. :)

It is a puttering around day for me too!! I had a list of stuff to do, but oh how I don't have the energy. So, I am funneling the laundry through, but not folding it. I have worked on the hair clog in the shower - at least I can shower in the morning without bathing my feet!! LOLOL.
The rest of the list will be bumped for tomorrow.


Now is it time for a :snickers: To bad there are none in the house right now :( !!

I have actually been okay with cleaning lately ~ so far since we moved I haven't really had to do too much! :D I have been trying to keep everything clean and picked up as we do stuff throughout the day, but I am sure that will soon end and I'll feel completely overwhelmed! LOL! Hang in there and give yourself lots of cleaning breaks and have a :snickers: :)

Well, I have to say, I did pretty well today. (so, that means tomorrow will be a total bust!) That is, until I checked in here! :D Once I sit down at this 'puter, it's all over! :)

I did get clothes put away, car dropped off/picked up from dealership, registered dd for ballet/tap, bought tap shoes....cooked and other boring stuff.

Then, somehow, I got connected to the IB Board Buddy Bios and found out how to download pictures, so of course, I had to check all that out!! :D :D So watch out!! Our little family may be invading the board soon!! :lol:

You know, if the kids and dh are out of the house, I really don't mind cleaning at all. I put on some music, loud, and just white tornado the whole thing. It's kinda great, because I feel like I've accomplished something.

What I hate is feeling like I'm spinning my wheels. Clean the kitchen, then ds wants a snack, fix a snack, clean it up, dd dumps her tray, clean that up, dh comes in with mud on his shoes, clean that up, wash fifty thousand loads of laundry, go in my room, the baskets are full...and on and on...

I'm like that too - if I can just be ALONE, I can get so much more done. I have to say, I didn't see much of dd today - she played by herself so nicely, she was having a blast and just checking in once in a while.

I read somewhere that trying to clean your house while your dks are around is like shovelling your driveway before the storm is over, lol. Very true!

I don't HATE cleaning... I love the way my house looks after it's been all cleaned up.. I just wish it would stay that way. I can spend the entire day cleaning and within a few hour's of everone coming home, the mess starts coming back. Ugh!!! Actually... I guess it's the constant REcleaning that gets to me. LOL Just wish it could stay cleaner longer.

When/if I go somewhere... my house HAS to be picked up and clean before I go otherwise I find myself feeling guilty for having fun while there is work to be done. What really bugs me is when I leave knowing that the house is all picked up and I return home and find that dd and her boyfriend have been cooking in my kitchen and there is this BIG mess of dishes and crap laying all over the place. Ugh!!!! What's worse is when she thinks I'm going to be the one to pick up after her... WRONG!!! LOL I swear... I think that they actually think I LOVE picking up after them.

I am the same way - I actually like cleaning when I am home alone. I also clean well when upset about something. :lol:
