I have found the best low fat way to cook is to grill the meats and steam the veggies. We grill almost all of our meats/fish...marinades can be really low in fat and make the meats taste so yummy. I have a wonderful steamer for the microwave that I bought from tupperware..I just load it up with veggies, spices and a little Parkay spray butter (0 fat and cals) and steam it...even the kids like it. I will serve a tossed salad with 0 fat dressing and fresh fruit...because it takes up alot of room on our plate it seems like alot of food! LOL

Grilling is a definite! It keeps food in their most basic forms without cooking out the vitamins and minerals. What about veggie shish kabobs? Load up on fresh veggies and a good marinade with a piece of grilled chicken is awesome!
