I just started homeschooling my preschooler. He loves it. I have some experience in Public School Preschool programs and tried to set my preschool up in much the same way. Homeschooling is a great idea for mothers who stay at home. I am able to teach at a speed that is individual to my child. If he understands the concept, we move on, if he doesn't we can work on it until he does. It is school specifically individualized for your child. We are active members in church and our child will play in the teeball and soccer little league clubs, so he is getting the best of both worlds. A great individualized education and social interaction. This is the best way to educate your children in my opinion especially when they are young. There are great websites that offer many cirriculums and teaching supplies that I have found. If you need some help just contact my email.

Welcome Layna,

I am finding that I am the welcoming committee today!! Just want to say hello!! It sounds like you are on a great road with you DS. This is a great place to come and share.

I noticed that you work with the youth in your church. I also work with the children's program in ours. Sure does keep you on your toes!!

Welcome Layna!

I'm just starting to homeschool my 5 yo and would love to check out the links you have, but I can't e-mail you because the e-mail feature is disabled. What's your e-mail address?

I'd love to have those links, too. I have a dd that will be 3 in December, and I plan to homeschool her. I'd like to get started with home-preschooling pretty soon, so I've been collecting as many sources as I can. Thanks for your help!

I have just recently started researching the option of homeschooling for my little ones when I came across this forum.
Not only am I new at the homeschooling thing but I am also new at forums. :goofy:
I am looking for any good advice on finding a non-religion based preschool cirriculum for my 2 year old.
Thank you for anything you can help with.....
