Birthday Party ideas & invitations

Hi there please help me!!! My dd is going to be 7 in a couple of weeks and wants dinasours for the theme... Does any one have any suggestions on things that we could do that go with dinasours and also I have been trying to find a site to print off invitations, know of any!!!

Perhaps you could set up some sort of dinosaur archeological type dig, hide dinosaurs in a big sand box and give them shovels to dig and find the dinosaurs...

or

you know the dinosaurs with the spikes going down the center of their backs and tails...do a pin the spike on the dinosaur.

or

have them draw/design their own dinosaurs and give them clever names, like a dogasurus.

I think I rememer seeing dinosaur stuff at www.dltk-kids.com in their birthday party section. For invitations you could print out a patern for your dd's fav dino and put the info on the back of the pic or if you have a print shop or something like that you can probably find a pic of a dino and make an invite on the print shop print out one copy and then take to a copy machine and make as many copies as you need. If your print shop will allow you to put the dino pic close to the fold of the paper you could even cut out the shape and make the pic itself become the invite. I think there was even a pattern for a dino cake on the dltk web site. If I come across anything else on the net I will let you know.

I have found a great book with party ideas, games suggestions etc. I have used it, it's awesome.
Your library might have it.

You could hide matchbox cars around the house or yard to find.
Do you have a big wheel? You can make cars out of a box so they could put their arms and head thru. You could make a race track using cones or chalk.
How about making a ramp to race the hot wheels. Good luck!
