Morning all.
Just wondering when kids start loosing their molars? Dd will be 11 soon and hasn't lost any yet. All my kids were late in getting teeth.....and in losing them. Just wondering.....do molars get loose and wiggly like the front teeth, or do they just seem to fall out? For the life of me I can't remember when my molars came out!
:)
DS just lost one and it just sort of fell out! LOL

Was just talking to our dental hygenist about this and I believe she said between 9 and 12, but ds is 12 and hasn't lost a tooth in forever. Of course I was in shock at the time because she had just told me ds (just turned 4) has 5 cavities! 8o He was terrible about carrying a sippy cup of juice around with him all the time. I never worried too much about it though because he was still eating well. When he turned four I just threw all the sippy cups away. Live and learn I guess - when the older boys where that age Playtex hadn't come out with those great no spill cups so we didn't have this problem with them.

Why am I thinking that you're not supposed to lose molars? I thought those were the permanent ones. I know you lose canines....

Your question got me curious, so I looked it up...looks like you lose the first and second molars.

Yeah, he starts next week filling them. It'll take 3 appointments.
