My son loves Blue's Clues. That is all he will watch. He is going to be 2 next month. I was thinking of him being Blue for Halloween, but everyone has been telling me that Blue is a girl dog (which I knew) and that he will be picked on.

What do you think? Will I scar him for life?

You have got to be kidding??? He's TWO for goodness sake!!!!!!!! If he loves Blue, let him dress that way and tell the critics to get a LIFE!!!!!!!!

I think that anyone that knows Blue is female may not be a good source for information on whether your child will be emotionally scarred. LOL!!

I have never seen a girl dressed like Blue? I have seen lots of boys though. I never even thought about Blue being a girl? Now, I don't think my son would dress up like Magenta. :D

If anyone criticizes, tell them that he's Blue's brother, Buster. lol

My ds has been watching Blue for 4+ years now. Dh just realized last week that blue is a girl. Ds got a good laugh cause he thought dad was joking (he was serious).

Let him be Blue if he wants. No one cares if girls dress as Scooby and he's a boy dog. Same principle.:D

I think that it is perfectly fine. Hope that you have fun!
